I will come back and write a full review later, but I would like to state that I thoroughly have enjoyed all of the hours I have put into Marvel Rivals. I am looking forward to future updates, events and hero additions the game has to offer.

Do I enjoy Once Human? Yes.

What do I like about Once Human?
Well... I guess I should start off by saying that Once Human is a survival game that feels different from other survival games. Even though it has the usual stuff like needing to drink, eat, and avoid getting sick, it somehow feels new and interesting. I believe this is due to the grind not feeling repetitive and feeling a sense of progression in everything you do.

As someone who doesn't enjoy survival games at all, I feel that Once Human has changed my opinion on survival games and has opened me up to try others in the future.

There's a lot going on in the game which I have enjoyed, such as it's post-apocalyptic setting, it's interesting season mechanics and proposed changes for upcoming seasons, along with the interactions between players (i really like that I can interact with my friends house and help them progress). The dungeons are another notable mention as some of the end-game bosses have very interesting mechanics which is reminiscent of intricate Raid Bosses in a MMORPG.

However... it's not without it's flaws. The game relies on loot boxes for the best-looking cosmetics, and the ones in the cash shop aren’t that great. The localisation isn’t very good, and the voice acting is either bad or missing in some parts. The building system, while expansive, can be finicky and would benefit from further refinement.

Overall, I believe Once Human offers a compelling and innovative experience and that at least for me, stands out from other survival games.

I Kickstarted the campaign for this game back last year and have been looking forward to it ever since. Many of the reviews here have already explained and given this title the priase it deserves, but I'd like to add my input as well.

I'd like to note that I've so far only got to day 3 as Mina and I'm playing through the game in the standard difficulty.

The Good:
+ The Art Style is gorgeous.
+ The Voice Acting suits each individual character.
+ The Storyline is well thought out.
+ The Cooking Puzzles are fun and can become challenging.
+ The Combat is entertaining and somewhat challenging.
+ The Musical score suits each level / stage / setting that it is precented on.

The Negative:
- I cannot find an instruction screen to refresh my memory on how to do x, and y. (I have a short memory, so if I do not complete or play the game daily I'll have issues).
- Unable to change your loadout within a match.

My personal opinion regarding the loadout is that it should be chosen once you see your judges to make it more situational, having the loadout before makes more sense in the hard difficulty of the game, however, your loadout may not match what your chef desires and you may end up stuck not being able to please them on later stages.

If you like match puzzles, sidescrolling combat and entertaining stories then look no further than Battle Chef Brigade.

Highly Recommend.
