If you like creativ freedom and that way are able to set your own goals while switching fluently from planet surfaces with simulated gravity to space always mining ressources to improve your builds, this might just be the best game you ever experience.

If you are unwilling to test out deep mechanics, have no patience to overcome engineering chalanges where you need to analyse and then improve your designs ... run for the hills.

The modding community is one of the most active once i have encountered sofar and the content next to limitless.

Multiplayer servers are equally available for PvE and PvP both can be neckbreaking depending on configuration and you may need to test out a few till you find your perfectly suitable one that is your pace.

Thousands of hours in this game will not tell you how proficient someone has become. I know i have several aspects i just haven'T come around yet to playtest deeply as other aspects to me have been just so much fun, but still therefor there is always room to improov. Want to be a better designer, put your back into it, same counts for better effcient builds, better defendable once, better in terms of ingenuity where you overcame challanges in novel ways. So basicly a good example for easy to learn, hard to master. Skill in this game is not just about reflexes, but about understanding the inner workings and your imaginiation what you can do with it.

Of those 4 hours playtime i alegedly have in this game, more than 3 hours are due to loading and waiting. So once more steam fu*cks me with their policy of not being able to give a game back that i have played longer than a hour.

Not sure how long this game is out, i enjoyed the youtube vids from several of their content creators and thought hey lets try it myself. That was a bad move. Sure i got not the most of ram and my machine isn't the newest, but so isn't this game. I played other games with hughely better graphics that had far better performance than Rust.

Worst RNG implementation i have ever witnessed of any game. While the enemies usualy get the best outcomes you get the worst, which makes any type of strategy you may wanted to play rather pointless.

I love the artwork and some of the game concepts are quite nice, but the RNG makes it just unplayable.

Ich hatte dieses Spiel zuerst auf einen kleinen privaten Server eines Freundes gezockt und dort viele der Mechaniken und einige Mods kennengelernt. Dann in Schüben immer wieder zwischen 3-6 Monaten das Spiel intensiv täglich gezockt. Ein kurzer Aufenthalt auf offiziellen Servern, war gekennzeichnet von schlafloser Paranoia und Finger belastender Monotonie beim Farmen, aber auch sehr spannenden gameplay.
Sprachlich toxische Spieler haben mich dann gänzlich von offiziellen Servern vertrieben, bzw der Mangel an allgegenwärtigen Administratoren die bei Fehlhandlungen mal eben jemanden auf den CoC hinweisen würden.

Danach war ich nur noch auf privaten, regulierten und besser administrierten Servern die ausnahmslos mit Offline Raid Protection(ORP) und s+ mods bestückt waren. Diese sind oftmals dann auch weniger anonym und man findet gut Anschluss. Wichtig jedoch immer das wenn man sich einen über Webseiten "deutsche Arkserver" oder battlematrix sucht, dann sich die Regeln genau durchliest da diese sich drastisch zwischen den einzelnen privaten Servern unterscheiden können und nicht für jedermanns Geschmack manchmal sind.

Das Spiel im Derzeitigen Zustand hat aus meiner Sicht nur wenige Probleme. Es ist asynchrones Gameplay. Das heist man muß darauf gefast sein in Situationen zu kommen die nicht fair erscheinen, aber mit ein wenig Geschick kann man normalerweise diesen entrinnen, mit etwas Erfahrung kann man sich auf diese vorbereiten und mit Zeit Investment kann die eigene Position normalerweise gestärkt werden.

Viele Bugs, Meshing Möglichkeiten und andere Spielqualität einschränkende Probleme wurden über die Jahre immer wieder von den devs angegangen und im großen und ganzen scheinen diese schon offene Ohren für die Bedürfnisse der Community zu haben.

Unterm Strich, wenn man sich auf dieses Spiel einlässt kann man viele Stunden hier verbringen und ne Menge Spaß dabei haben.

If you look for something different from the usual, something creativ and rather simple to learn, give this a try. Sofar i enjoyed all playmods from single to duel to coop. The replayability is quite nice done with feats for your plagues you can paly free and give them a nice boost. Though i would have liked more visual implications onto the back and how the different DNA upgrade perhaps haffe different effects there too, the base types of the plagues do that well enough to the point that you are flying around with a vampire or lead a zombi hord into a charge =).

simple, fun and sofar no need for micro transactions

well they got me. I invested and i don't know if i could claim it was worth it. The game is still nice, yet it gets quite repetative over time and i stopped playing now for a while.

wenn ich wüßte wie ich meine zwei ebstehnden accounts mit einem neuen steam account mergen könnte, dann würde cih dem vielelicht nochmal einen Versuch geben.

i like it. Not sure how long it will last but i gues for the next days at least i will be hooked. Afterwards i decide if i get me premium. Well done devs, this is a game worth of my time =)

OK i have to make some additions to my first comment. The game itself is still nice and all, but the pay to win options in this game are horrible.

F.E. there are these nice treasure boxes you get. They are in several different rarities. The best, the epic one, would gurantee you 8 slots with stuff , as a f2p gamer you only get half of them, the back row is blocked.

Addtionally when you sell your stuff you only get half of what players with premium account gain.

Additionally you only gain 1/3 the expereince premium accounts gain.

Now today i had particular luck in drawing from the chest, i got a legendary item, which are one in a 100 draws so to speak ... yet it was in the back row which is blocked.

All this feels like a punishement which tries to force you into the premium account option. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and could have been designed in a way that it does not seem like a hustle. It draw all the fun out of the game. Well that last was the final stra as i wasn't playing it anyways anymore since the trial prium account was done and i only locked in for the chests in hope to get soemthing good which would make me wanna play again. That was denied in the most cruel way now so ♥♥♥♥ this.

i played M&B/cRPG/Strategus for 7000+ hours, it looks now i have finaly found a game where i maybe beat that number.

Couldn't stop myself from playing through in one go. Addictvly immersive for the imagination.
