Early Access Review
Legitimately fun and addicting. Fast paced gameplay with good movement mechanics and satisfying upgrades, not to mention a surprisingly large amount of weapon choices and vast array of modifiers. The developer is great about releasing new updates.

Not bad. The building system and "decay" aspect is quite nice. The building especially is what I wish unturned building was like.

Can't help but play it, even though I'm gawd awful at it and still end up missing some of the easiest shots with over 200hrs logged =P
10/10 has ruined my life

Still play it consistently, but bad connections to most servers means I stay away from ranked nowadays. Wish they would include network status icons like battlefield, so I could have an idea of what's going wrong.

| Update (Nov. 2018):

Yet again still consistently playing this for a few hours every week.
* The addition of ranked hoops/rumble/dropshot helped revitalize the community (myself included).
* Networking is worse than what I recall when I first played, but it at least feels more consistent so I guess that's good?
* The developers kinda ignore the community requests (unless it's something directly tied to eSports), and rather focus on new crates than revisiting and improving the half-assed features they've already added (yes I realize two differen teams would work on these, but it still makes a good illustration of where their priorities are).
* Rocket pass has been added (just like Fornite's battle pass) and is... well, I've never liked those systems, but to each their own. The free tier at least makes the experience and levels you get worth something. And the premium tier can _sorta_ pay itself back by the keys you can earn as you level it.
* Cross-platform parties was announced around summer of 2017, and still isn't here, with the devs pushing out the "release" date every time they've gotten close to a date they previously estimated it to be out. Now they're saying "sometime in 2019".

| Update (Nov. 2019):

Still playing this game most weekends, though I've found myself bouncing between it and a few other games now. Still missing open goals quite consistently at 1000+hrs...
* Cross-platform parties finally came!
* Annoyingly hard to communicate with console rando's you've partied with (quite common when you use the "Party Up" feature that was introduced) since they can't see party chat.
* Ranked Rumble is the only reason I still play this game competitively

Quite good at facial tracking and mapping to the avatar.
