I have to agree with the pros and cons that people have stated here.

Pros

+Its in HD
+Same originality as the original 3DO version
+Mulitplayer support on steam
+ Multiplayer works
+Basically original with added extras

Cons

-None of the addons which make this game expensive unless they give it for free at a later date
-Price (I can buy it new in the shops for £1)
-WoG is a no go
-Not 3DO


Would i recommend this game. Yes to possibly newer players who want to see what the old games used to be like with newer graphics. No to all of the more experienced people unless they include the addons at some point.

How do i rate yes or no? Well i am going from my experience of the game which would be a NO otherwise newbies buy and enjoy our games with better GFX.

Just wanted to add that I always thought it was funny I got sick because of the gfx and not the violent bloody gore.

I'm afraid you misunderstood me here. I meant 'sick' as in real sick.

It hasn't happened to me since the days of the 1st Doom where I couldn't play it more then 30 minutes straight otherwise my head would start spinning (apparently nausea was a common occurrence with early 3D gfx).

I belive it is more then enough to point out the lousy work they did (I tested with my GOG version - with and without the HD mod - and felt fine).

I do agree with you zmaked but for the newer generation that have never seen this game it's just an uplift to a old game. Fair enough theres no real changes apart from crispier sprites and the detail is much better. Apart from that it's kinda Meh for more experienced players.

Yeah, right. It was the first time I ever got sick from a so-called "HD uplift" -_-
