I was playing a match and I racked up a good amount of points from rescuing my teammates, repairing gens and all that good stuff. But eventually the killer got to two of the survivors, and they were sacrificed, leaving me with one other survivor named Dwight. I couldn't find him, so I repaired the last generator hoping he would come to one of the exit doors. I met him halfway, he was limping around, with a trail of blood leading directly to us. I used my medkit on him since I had no idea where the killer was and didn't want to get caught in a situation like that. He followed me through the cornfield towards one of the exits. We both hid behind a tree, we could see the killer approaching us. At the time I wasn't that good at the game, and I was a scared little boy, so I pointed towards the door, signaling the Dwight to go open it. He was so close to opening it before the killer came from behind and pulled him right off the switch. I wasn't sure if he did it because he was new, or if he was a true hero! The killer carried him to one of the hooks and placed him on it, it was his last time on the hook, his last words were: "Go... you're free" before the spider gods took him in. I felt like a d*ck, but I knew he would've wanted me to escape. The exit gate was almost opened, so it took me a couple of seconds to get it opened... I was free!
