My favorite kind of games are First Person Shooters, Third Person Shooters, Action Games, Adventures, sometimes Fighting games sometimes RPG but really mainly stuff that has real time action rather than turn based.

I first got into gaming with a PC in 1989 when my family got a Tandy 1000HX. I played adventure games like Space Quest and some ports of C64 games like Ghostbusters.

Then for a while I switched over to Nintendo gaming with the Gameboy, NES and SNES. During this time I was also quite into arcade gaming and was always dissapointed with the scaled back ports the SNES used to receive of 90's arcade games. Also, at the time I only used to get to play Doom and Wolfenstein when I would get a chance to use the computers at school during lunch time for gaming.

Then around '95 my family bought a second computer. A compaq... I promptly took it over and played many DOS titles on it including Duke3D and Shadow Warrior. Then it was my first computer to host a 3D accelerator card when I got a 3Dfx Voodoo graphics card for it which I used to play GLQuake.

Then in '98 I saved up money from a work study program doing computer support at my school and bought a Gateway 2000 computer which I slapped in a Voodoo2 card right away and played games like Unreal and Unreal Tournament. I did a lot of gaming on that computer... but then I took a break from gaming more or less for about five years.

Then in '05 I got my first Mac. A Mac Mini.. it wasn't a gaming powerhouse but it was still faster than my at the time aging Gateway 2000. I made do with that until I got a '09 iMac and then a late '12 iMac which is what I use now.
