I can't recommend it at this point, despite it being cheaper and on early access. They need to make it more obvious that it's early access. There are a lot of missing tips and mechanics, with the mechanics it's both necessary and quality of life things. I'm no slouch player and I can't even get through the easiest scenario on the easiest difficulty, at least not very a very long time. I don't know the developer's full plans but I highly suggest they at least have the option for some more automation (I know some players like to dig deep, I don't), and... I forget the other one at the moment, but some co-op would be very nice as well. There is a lot of potential here, right now most of it is being left on the table.

The cartoon style ruins the entire game, the Alexander campaign is completely void of the inherent grandeur.
