***HONEST REVIEW***

To give you the context before i start, i have a set up with a higher than average capability, but my internet speeds are...okay at best.

So, Mordhau. After just over 20 hours on the game, i can honestly say its ******* brilliant. Its stunning, the character, gear and weapon customisation is awesome and always keeps you pushing for that next upgrade/cosmetic. The lobbies are always filled and it only ever takes seconds to find a game. There are only like 4 or 5 maps to choose from but they are all a very generous size and look incredible so you really don't mind them, and the game mode (similar to rush from the battlefield series) runs really smoothly and allows you to experience a lot of the maps. When this game works, its brilliant. Easily the best game I've purchased this year. But i must stress the 'WHEN this game works'. I have a better than average PC and my computer constantly struggles with this game. Loading times are a bit of a **** take, meaning I've literally NEVER seen the first charge into battle at the beginning of a game. I'd say 1/5 games i join i get booted straight out because of connection issues and then out of the 4/5 games i manage to join, id say another 2 out of those 4 games i have a high ping warning the entire game. As i said, i have okay connection at best, but i struggle with nothing else like i do with this game. I play a lot of competitive CSGO and am absolutely fine. My other issue is its generally buggy. Not so much in game, but what it does to the PC. If i want to tab out of Mordhau to change a song or reply to a message? Forget about it, not a chance. And before now i have had PUBG running on one monitor and another AFK game on the other with no issues. The reason i have decided to write this review now is that my Mordhau has just froze, i couldn't Alt F4, i could open task manager but couldn't tab into it, i couldn't close it off the task bar, i literally had to restart my PC just to be able to do anything and this is the FIRST time that I've got the the point of 'i cannot be bothered with this game today'.

I can honestly say i would 100% recommend this game, but it really does have its issues that need correcting. I've spoken to friends with lower end PC's that don't struggle at all and then some with better specs than me that struggle too and online forums tell the same tale. Really not sure whats causing these issues but if these get sorted this game really will be incredible!

Giving it a 9/10 only because of these issues, But once you're in-game you forget them all instantly!
