Spelunky is a masterpiece of pain, a classic 2d rogue-like platformer that has random generated levels with endless replay-ability and a lot of quirk to be had.

You will find in this fantastic world a huge variety of level themes, such as forest, mines, ice caves, underwater, and also several hidden worlds, each with their own unique type of enemies, items and playable characters to rescue. Through this process you will be committing murder, theft, kidnapping..., collecting secrets to uncover, lore (even if it doesn't all make sense), there is a lot more to the game than meets the eye.

Its also easy to pick up and play for short sessions, or dive in to get as far as possible.

If you're looking for a game that will challenge you, or where you and your friends can die in the most hilarious of ways, this one I highly recommend.
