I can assure you this game will hurt your mouth FAR MORE if you give it a shot (from how much you'll be talking to your friends about it, but also not from how much you'll be talking to your friends about it - you'll see). From a fascinating implementation of damage vs. healing to genuinely immersive and engaging story attaching you to your hard-earned cards through each run, this game will effortlessly steal HOURS of your time.

If you're the kind of person who likes to poke around with these kind of experiences, thinking to yourself "I wonder what would happen if I tried to take the gnome all the way to the rocket at the end of the game" this is the game for you.

If you're the kind of person who enjoys a good environmental puzzle, desperately working to force the game into a state that PERFECTLY suits your nonsense desire to make the most perfectly broken deck, this is the game for you.

If you want a story that ends in only a mostly satisfying way and leaves a lot of questions unanswered or hand-waved away then I've got good news for you, but I'll only tell you after you've played Inscryption.

A lot of folks have asked me "why on earth would you pay for this if it's free online?" and there are plenty of nice little reasons to, like the cloud saves and the steam achievements, and the music. But personally for me it's more of a little thank you note to the developers. It's a small token of my appreciation for the unceasing effort given to this cute little passion project over the course of the past eight years. Five bucks is a steal, honestly.

God I've been waiting for this game for such a long time and now that it's here, I almost feel like I have nothing else to look forward to. Almost. Good thing it's so fun and there's so much to do that it should hold me over until The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe comes out!

Hey, please add a cursor in the smartwatch menus, I got trapped and wasn't able to continue playing! I'm interested in what I was able to see though.

Remarkably cozy

A perfect blend of hilarious and touching with lovable characters, an engrossing story, and overwhelmingly excellent music have made this my favorite game of all time thus far.

It's amazing, obviously.
