First of all, this game really is’t anything like the previous AC games. It has a different and imo a better combat system: you can dodge attacks, you can parry attacks what makes your enemies defenseless, you can attack with either a light attack or a heavy attack. Eg. There are some fat dudes in the game with giant shields, you’ll need a fully charged heavy attack to break trough their defenses. You also have a bow multiple kinds of bows. Which makes stuff interesting. You also have an eagle that you can use to scan the area for enemies and chests and prisoners. (You also have your eagle vission) There will be horse combat aswell since you can call your personal mount anytime.

Except for AC Odyssey, this game has the biggest map for sure. Even when you walk in your home village at the start of the game, you can see that the creators put a lot of effort in the map. It is very detailled and beautifull. Just for the “discovery tour” you should play the game. (A mode so you can see the map) You also have “fast travel locations” who allow you to travel the map very fast once you’ve unlocked them.

The storyline is great but at the same time bad. Let me explain: in Origins you have 2 important caracters: Bayek and his wife. They are both extremly good warriors and Medjays (protectors of Egypth) their son gets killed by the “order of ancients” (your main enemy in the game). And they are looking for revenge, almost half of the main quests will exist out of hunting down members of the order. This really made me lose interest in the storyline. But they really fixed that once you’re done hunting them down. Then the storyline gets really good! Even though the storyline had his ups and downs, it was still better than almost every other AC games. Mainly because it didn’t exist out of “kill .....”. Though the main story was sick, the DLC’s are even more amazing.

Side missions: They are fun at the start, but when you’ve done a few you will lose interest in them. Trust me. There are a ♥♥♥♥ ton of sude quests tho, so if you wanne 100% the game, you’ll need a lot of time.

Unknown locations: when you travel trough the map, you’ll see locations with objectivs like bandit camps or fortresses. You can complete them for XP but they don’t have anything to do with the story. Just like side quests it will get boring when you’ve done a few.

Hunting: when you travel trough the map, you will meet a lot of wild animals for sure. (Lions, hippo’s, cheeta’s, crocodiles, ...) they will attack you! But there will also be animals who won’t attack you. You can kill thos animals for resources which you will need to upgrade your armor, your hidden blade and stuff like that.

Inventory: This is the place where you will be upgrading your hidden blade and armor. This will also be the place where you equip your weapons, shields, bows you either loot or buy.

Weapons: You havr multiple kinds of weapons like: swords, spears, duel daggers, maces, ... each of them has a different kind of combat style. They come in different tiers, legendary is stronger than rare for example. They can also have special abillities. There is a fire sword for example. You can get legendary weapons from a special trader for a lot of drachmen (currency used in the game) or from killing phylakes. (Bounty hunters trying to kill you, These are the STRONGEST enemies in the game.)

Leveling: there is a leveling system in the game. So when you see an enemy 5 levels higher, your skills don’t matter. You’ll die, even on easy mode. This means you’ll need to upgrade your weapons to keep using them or they will be too weak. This requires resources and drachmen. You can only upgrade your weapons at a smid. You can get resources by dismanteling weapond you don’t use.!

Special abilities: when you level up you get 1 skillpoint. Which you can use to unlock abilities like: shield rush (you run to an enemy with your shield znd break their defense), regen ability, ...

IMPORTANT: You need a GOOD GAMING PC/Laptop!!
