Devs learned nothing from Boneworks. Over the years VR game development has settled on a number of bare minimum, non-negotiable standards for good and accessible gameplay that these developers continue to choose to ignore.

Overpriced for what it is, while it is fun and has some cool concepts, this is a tech demo. The marketing for this game is borderline misleading. It's clear this is a sandbox engine that depends on mod support, but as far as I can tell, that support isn't there.

Buy on a steep discount only. Could be good one day if it's not abandoned and modders are given the tools they need to make the most of it.

Good game and solid in early access. Limited resources and the real risk of losing units introduces strategies around which territories to target and which units to take with you.

Unfortunately the campaign is a bit on the easy side, so these strategies are not overly important. I finished what is available so far without failing a mission or feeling desperate for resources. However as the game develops and expands I'm sure that will change.

Looks good, plays well and feels satisfying.
