Rare-ltd, creators of Sea Of Thieves and partially owned by Microsoft are corrupt criminals who have unrightfully banned over 200 sea of thieves accounts permanently then proceeding to either ignore appeal requests, or send automated responses. If you appeal more than 5 times you will be blocked from support.

Rare however are not banning cheaters. From the 1st of September 2024 to the 4th of September 2024 172 accounts have been made to avoid bans, these accounts previously took upwards of 3 years to receive a ban again, however innocent players like Theb, Noobface and dozens of other unnamed accounts get banned within days for merely evading an unjust ban.

Rare are partnered with "HappyF33tz", a once-popular content creator who admitted live on stream to have cheated on his wife to have sexual relations with a minor, whilst he was mid-20s. Rare are partnered with LDSylvr, a known homophobe who has called people offensive and homophobic slurs live on stream. Rare are partnered with PhuzzyBond, a known transphobe in the sea of thieves community.

Rare are a team largely made up of LGBT individuals. Rare's community managers are all hired based on personality instead of grammar, records and skills. J0toro, the senior community manager at Rare has no say in who is and isn't banned as it's all a joint "voting" system lead by corrupt employees who only wish to watch their favourite streamers succeed as it brings them more money as a company.

Sea Of Thieves has a secret damage control team ready to take over at the push of a button due to the games instability, cheating outbreak and false ban claims.

On the 2nd of September 2024 a group of cheaters managed to gain access to the in-game anti-cheat (EAC) and falsely banned a dozen streamers and users whom they had an vendetta against. Rare have proceeding to ignore this issue and play it off as "absurd accusations".
