Early Access Review
Game is nowhere near being complete, and Take-Two just closed the studio developing it. Game is not in an enjoyable state at this time, do not buy.

Honestly the best multiplayer game I've played in quite some time, and would be worth a buy even as a $60 title. Haven't had this much fun in multiplayer since Halo 3.

Only 2 gripes:
1) It uses nProtect GameGuard - a kernel-level anti-cheat rootkit of dubious effectiveness.
2) It requires a PSN account - IMHO not an issue, but people are getting butthurt over having to -*gasp*- sign in with a non-Steam account to play a game on Steam... You know, just like many other PC games.

The Outer Wilds is a game of discovery and perspective. This is legitimately one of the best games I've ever experienced.

This game is very... Odd. While overall it's an absolutely fantastic game, at the same time manages to be a mediocre Metal Gear Solid game. For one thing, it feels heavily padded compared to other MGS games - while this does cause the story itself to suffer from a slow and unreliable pacing, you do get an unbelievable amount of "Tactical Espionage Action" that the series is known for.

If you're a fan of the series, expect lots of "ooooooh!" moments when certain things are revealed, as well as plenty of "plot twists" that seem excessively obvious if you're on top of the lore of the series.

There's one other small issue (that even after 100 hours of gameplay, I still can't confirm): the game's story was apparently cut, and is left in an unresolved state by the time the game is actually over and done this. I believe this should be taken with a grain of salt, because it's been hinted at that the final portion needs to be triggered somehow, and combined with a hidden cutscene that's supposedly for when all players of the online Forward Operating Base portion of the game have disarmed their nuclear weapons. With this kind of hidden content, I think it's safe to stay that given time, people will figure out how to unlock the "true" ending, similar to all the hoops that had to be jumped through to complete Peace Walker's story and get its "true" ending.

Overall Verdict: If you're a Metal Gear fan, expect to simultaniously love and be disappointed in MGSV. If you're not a Metal Gear fan, expect to have tons of fun with the gameplay, but be absolutely confused by the story. Either way, it's a buy in my book.
