Early Access Review
This is not Early Access, this is far far far worse.

After playing for a few hours my Character bugged out.
After rejoining a few times I had the "Headless" glitch, where all my gear and safe-box were deleted off the character and I was then naked and without a head.
The support teams said "Use this form to get it fixed" but it's been over 15 hours at this point.

Ontop of this major bug that stopped me playing and progressing, the game forums and discords are FLOODED with issues such as;
• Random Game Crashes, Heavy Game Performance Issues, Team Killing Epidemic, More Exfil Camping, AI Insta-Kill Bugging, Frequent Disconnecting, Dead Bodies Despawning or Invisible, Rubber Banding & Server Issues, Never Ending Queues Bug, Bizarre Graphical Bugs, Movement/Vaulting Clumsiness, Support Pack Items not being given OR losing the Support Pack Items to one of the many bugs above.

Many of these result in a full loss of Inventory as leaving the game while in the map forfeits your gear.
As I saw written elsewhere, this game has its basic CORE FEATURES currently broken.
It's not like the classic Server-Strain of newly released games with the odd bug here and there.
If you are Headless - progression is RESET.
If you Crash/Etc - you lose all your Gear.
Try and quickly hop over a wall? - Keep trying 3 more times till it works, oh you died?
Died and went back to your body? - It might be fully invisible or simply gone!
Got Friendly-Fired? - HAH! Free M4 and Gear for them!!! ~ Only punished on x2 TK's of the same person!
Want to play the game? - If you don't have high-end specs you will be in the Thousands of people noting major graphical issues and game performance nightmares.

Once all of the above is fixed it might be a half-decent game.
Might be worth a Refund ASAP if you bought it recently.

50% of conversations include Joe Biden or Bing Chillen.
Someone was going to tell me what Bing Chillen was....
But someone playing "Somebody once told me" flew in with a drop kick and pushed him off the ledge.
Now I will never know....

Early Access Review
A great early access game. Haven't been able to stop playing the last few months.

Constant updates occur, some good, some not so good.
This game might just not be what you want it to be just yet.

At its current stage as I write this review, I love it.
I die very rarely and can easilly push through the ranks to top tier carnivores. Yet I often die to a top tier herbivore that chases me down, and that herbi takes a literal fration of the time to progress to. Yet this will not always be the case in the future.

Many people complain with no real understanding of how a game evolves during its devleopment and assume the devs are not listening. The sad part is that 1 decent bit of feedback given is drowned by another 100 moaning players thinking their opinion on the games current standing is a valid one, let alone one that matters.

If you want to buy a dino survival game with actual reprocutions to taking risks, this game is for you.
If you think dying and losing hours of progression is not something you're fond of, then don't play a survival game.

I recommend the game to any survival game fans.
I recommend the game to anyone who enjoys dinosaurs, accurate dino models and animations are present, with a few things in-accurate but soon to be changed.

The Developers are some fantastic down to earth people, who sometimes get bummed out by the negative manure-spreading posters. Don't be a manure smearer. Let the devs be the awesome people they are and eagerly wait the game many have dreamed for to be at version 1.0!

The game has the fantastic ability to be played as you and I chose to.
The Family and I have all played No Man's Sky in various different ways and are all blown away at the randomosity and individuality this game provides.

Space battles can be challenging at first, then can become insanely fun and rewarding later on...

The diversity of baron to densely packed planets is awesome and can provide some crazy Monsters and Fudgeling creatures... to which can be so different that even after HOURS of gameplay I am yet to see a Chinese Dragon flying in the sky on my game, to which begrudgingly my brother had!
(But I have all the aggressive humanoid-chickens!)

I chose to play the game like a biologist at first, then changed to a bit of a trader, then a space miner, space pirate, back to biologist surveyor... I went with the flow and found rising up the learning curve was a great experience.

Simply chill out and explore, it’s not all about grinding away for currency 24/7... don't try force expectations and mega-effort onto the game if you don't want nor need to!

This is a relaxing game, if you try to make it something it's not, you're gunna have a bad time!

- I highly recommend this game to those who know what kind of game it is.
- 10/10 for so so so many different experiences and adventures.

Can't wait for all sorts of updates to make the game even more diverse!!!

James.

Easilly one of the most eye-catching games for me this year.

Take a survival island game, throw in some dinosaurs and add Tribe cultures and Base building and there you have it!
ARK!

I can only run this game "nicely" on the 2nd highest startup promt (4gb) with low/medium settings, but it really does not impact on the game play as one would think! ~ Still evnvious of the Epic setting players! >.<

I would recommend this to any survival game player, and strongly recommend it to any of my friends and community bros!

9/10 ~ needs more dragons! (Wait.....)

Fantastic game!

There was some trouble early on with hackers, just as there is in many games like this, but the devs quickly jumped on it and managed to deal with it quickly.

Some amazing moments occur in this game, ones that are best lived and not told about.
Players are less like bandits and more like diplomats in this massive medival slaughterfest! One has to be in order to prevent those 5 little midget men knocking on your doors with steel!

Hilarious, Nail-Biting and Brutal.

This is a game I would recommend to anyone who enjoys building, fighting and general discussions with random encounters or allied guilds.

One cant help but compare it to games such as Rust, H1Z1, DayZ.
But they all have guns, things are different in RoK as attacking people has to be done up close and most often they know you are there!

9/10 ~ needs more dragons!
