This is the first review I've ever written, but I just couldn't sit by and let idiots bash this game. I haven't even played for half an hour yet and can already tell this is the most complete, most polished VR game to date.

No it's not perfect, I haven't played a VR game yet that is. I will address some of the complaints I have seen below:

Poor Graphics: I truly don't understand this one. The graphics are amazing. Better than most VR "games" out right now. Exactly what I pictured standing in Skyrim would be like. I can only conclude that anyone who makes this complaint is an overly critical neckbeard who hasn't taken off their headset for days (playing skyrim, which they supposedly hate) and the light is starting to fry their brains.

Menus/ Wasn't Designed for VR: It's a port. A pretty dang good one, too. It wasn't designed for VR, morons. Yes the menus aren't as "immersive" but overall they are much easier to navigate than any other game I've played so far, and I can understand why they chose to keep them rather than overhauling the game even more than they already had to just to get it into VR. I can only conclude that the neckbeards who complain about this one not only have no idea what goes into making a game, but have never actually created anything in their life. All they know how to do is complain about other people's creations not being perfect.

XYZ Issue/Game doesn't work: Upgrade your toaster. Game works flawlessly for me and I'm not even on that good of a rig. i5 3570K with GeForce 1070. Yes, my processor is that old, still able to do max settings and a decent amount of supersampling.

XYZ Game Does 1 Specific Thing Better: This one should be obvious. Yes the bow in The Lab is slightly better than Skyrim's. Yes the combat in SUPERHOT is more fluid, etc. etc.. The difference is those games are MUCH tinier and MUCH more focused than Skyrim. In short, they are not AAA games. They are able to do 1 thing really well because that's all they are, 1 thing. They are also more of tech demos than games. Skyrim is probably the first AAA game to be executed well in VR (looking at you, Fallout 4). We should be encouraging it, not picking it apart. For someone who is sick and tired of playing tech demos and "experiences" calling themselves games, Skyrim is a huge breath of fresh air.
