I overall really liked this game. However, let's get specific with pros and cons.
Pros
-Leveling system is really interesting. You get a level for everyone when you kill a boss. That's it. You can also level abilities through combat, but at no point do you feel like you need to grind them or anything.
-Funny moments. Honestly I have actually laughed with many of the jokes in this game, which is more than the general "chuckle ceiling" many of the genre games have.
-Dialogues. This is a bit of a mixed opinion. Dialogue has great peaks on some of the conversations, combined with character growth and overall good understanding of the situations, but it feels like some scenes are just written by someone else who drops the ball. Still a pro overall.
- The story. Without going into too much detail it has some interesting twists and is generally an interesting enough take on the more traditional rpg formula.
- Combat (the good). The overdrive mechanic is an interesting addition, making you focus on more than hp and mana. As a big fan of FFX, the switching characters got me screaming because I don't know why this feature is not on every game. I liked the twist of making pairs that you can switch between, instead of anyone being able to switch with anyone.
- Exploration is really fun, it has interesting map design to really take advantage of some of its mechanics.

Cons
- If I could say only one thing in this section, it'd be the ending. Without going into it, I feel like it doesn't wrap the entire story properly. (On this, I've read some mentions that a sequel could be in the future, but I dont know much about it)
- While exploration itself is fun, the random encounters are often a bit trivial.
- Other than some bosses, and the late game, the game is pretty easy. If you keep taking the time to max your equipment and crystals, you can roll over most enemies with relatively no effort.
- The OST just personally didn't do it for me. It's not bad, but I just didn't feel like it gave it too much personality other than a couple themes.

Overall, definitely a great game to scratch the JRPG itch we get every once in a while!

Very fun side-scroller souls like type thing, not very hard but the world and characters are fun. Really appreciate the pun game too!

Overall great game, very beautiful, great soundtrack and the movements feel smooth.
Some parts are a bit out there, specially if you want to do 100%, some secrets are... insane. But yeah, great stuff!
