Fun game in coop and would kinda recommend when picking it up for $5 or less. The DLC should be below $1 for it to be interesting. Do not expect much from the story and expect glitches (not really annoying, just a bit more challenging and funny).

Gameplay does not go much further then shooting aliens and Weyland employees either on a space ship, on the surface of a planet or in a ground station. However, it does have the Alien styling and sounds which make it more enjoyable if you like the Alien universe.

If you have no affinity with the Alien franchise the you should stay clear, especially if you are looking for something more then plain shooting and blowing stuff up ;) Oh, and make sure to play it on the highest difficulty as it was fairly easy otherwise.

All in all only a 6/10.

The game is METAL SLUG so it's fun, that's not the problem. The quality of the port is the problem. Here on Windows 7 the controls feel like they respond bad (both on keyboard and xbox 360 controller), the sound glitches in multiplayer almost all the time (sometimes it's a bit worse than the other time but glitch non the less) and the graphics haven't been upscaled for larger resolutions.
