20 to 30 minute tech demo at most. youre shown a bunch of basic movement mechanics and fight the same enemy a few times while generic voice A talks with generic voice B in generic cave environment. FWIW i dont really feel too strongly about yellow paint direction one way or the other, but its extremely heavy handed here as though its possible to get lost in what is essentially a series of corridors. right at the end you see something that actually looks cool, generic character A and B both mutter something forlorn, and then the credits roll. cant argue with free, but it didnt really feel worth the time.

Additionally, it feels poorly optimised and bizarrely sluggish for a game all about movement.

i have to write the "amazing chest ahead" message myself now, and you cant even buy it anymore. the baldur's gate of my teens, and an entirely lonely experience now.

sometimes this software will flat out deny i am playing a chord correctly even though i can hear that it's fine, and then at the end of the song it will grade me poorly and the voiceover will say "alright performance" in a tone that implies he thinks i should die. so all in all it's a very accurate simulation of being taught guitar by my papa and you just can't get that kind of authenticity anywhere else.
