A true mind-blowing masterpiece. A very well written story brought to life by unbelievable graphics, motion capture and stage direction, perfected by an incredible soundscape.

It cannot be described, it can only be experienced.

Early Access Review
A creative factory-building game with an interesting twist that makes it feel different from the rest of the genre. The art-style is cute and works well with the gameplay.

The fact that you are working with Picmin-like creatures rather than conveyor belts requires you to rethink about logistics and throughput. I was delighted to feel like the first time I played a factory-building game while figuring out how my little friends could optimally transport enough wood for my factory to run smoothly. And how I could handle overflow to avoid stalling. All the tools are there to provide you with the depth you'd want from a game of that genre: item filters, splitters, buffers, etc.

I have a good time playing the game, but in its current early access state, there are a few things that could be improved in my opinion:
- The game is throwing so many quests and unlocks at you all the time that it's easy to feel overwhelmed and lost. The game doesn't really encourage you to use and figure them out before moving to the next quest. I think it would be better if after an unlock, the game gave you a challenge that requires this new item to solve. There is no real order to the quests too so the progression doesn't feel cohesive and the game fails at guiding you in the learning process.
- There is a ton of back and forth between your factory and the city where you need to manually hand in all the produced resources. I think some aspects of the game that currently cannot be automated could really benefit from it. Edit: more automation is available later in the game. They really should make those essential upgrades unlocked earlier.
- The overly present LGBT themes are unnecessary and look out of place. I'm not against inclusivity, but I think this game goes a bit too far with it.

All of those didn't prevent me from enjoying the game, but solving them would turn this great game into an awesome game!

I wish I could leave a "neutral" review instead of negative. I'll try to be as fair as possible.

The tavern gameplay is straightforward but still pretty good. It's fun to play with friends and everyone always has something to do. However, it becomes a bit repetitive quickly. This is where you start exploring the open world and progress simple quests to make it a bit more varied.

Playing the demo, I had good hopes that the exploration part would bring more life and variety but I was wrong. The open world is very bland, empty and uninteresting. There are a few useful things to pick up but that's it. Combat, which is part of exploration, is terribly bad: unclear hitboxes and animations, it's impossible to dodge anything. It's worse than Minecraft 0.1 alpha because monsters aren't even knocked back when you hit them.

The conversations with the different quest NPCs have simple but effective absurd humor. It gives the game some personality.

Performance is terrible too. Frame pacing is all over the place, so much so that I got headaches playing the game. It really isn't a pleasant experience, even on a very high end PC. I think I would have at least played all the quests if the game was running smoothly.

Overall this is an OK game that can be fun to play with friends. The idea, concept and basis for the game are good, but it's underbaked in my opinion.

These developers deserve the golden nut trophy for the employee of the planet.

Satisfactory is a very satisfying game that is doing everything right. The developers worked hard to remove every little friction and make a game that is only smooth and enjoyable.

- The build system is the best I've ever seen in any game.
- The graphics are beautiful and immersive.
- The exploration aspect is interesting and valuable gameplay-wise.
- The game is packed with content with a ton of different machines, parts, research, tiers, and more. It has a lot of depth but is not overwhelming because it brings everything at the perfect pace.
- Can be very cool in multiplayer if you get organized.

A little slow to start because you have to unlock a few zones by progressing the story before getting into the real game loop. The gameplay is fun from the start though, the gunplay feels great, and the progression is satisfying.

Once you get there, it's an awesome grinding game that is satisfying and not overtuned. It's not too hard getting new characters and weapons, and only requires a couple hours of farming at most. Character building and abilities are great. The "void intercepts" (boss battles) are very cool and feel new for the genre.

Apart from a few jaw-dropping areas, the environments are quite bland despite the beautiful graphics. The character models are gorgeous and very detailed. The game runs very smoothly for me.

The story is okay, but not very interesting. It does a decent job to give context to the events and the bosses and everything, but that ends there. Don't expect a deep story. The characters all have a cool personality though.

The developers have a very open and honest approach to communication that is very much appreciated. There is also an abondance of information about drop rates, drop locations and everything available right from inside the game. You don't have to alt-tab to a wiki when you want something specific.

Monetization looks bad at first. They put a ton of payable convenience in there. However, the more you play, the more you realize that they are absolutely useless and I don't see any reason why I would buy them. Just a whale bait I guess. The battle pass just doesn't look interesting at all to me too, it really isn't mandatory. Monetization really isn't right in your face. I would have liked more customization options though, even paid ones.

Edit: more skins are available now, and the paint system has been improved. You can get paints for free and the default skins for weapons and characters can be painted as well.

Great fun that is easy to get into, but has a surprising amount of depth and details in the gameplay. The tone and satire are funny but do not lessen the intimidating nature of the enemies and the epic chaos of each mission. The progression is satisfying too.

I highly recommend.

A nice experience with good looking and clean graphics, a very chill mood, and an interesting concept. However, for a puzzle game, the riddles are very easy and not challenging at all. On top of that, the game takes only between 2 and 3 hours to complete. For these reasons, I think the asking price is too high for what is offered by the game.

It's not really a thumb down, nor a thumb up, but an in-between.

Truly one of the greatest games ever, and I'm not exagerating. The game is very polished and enjoyable to play, with beautiful graphics, excellent sound design and OST, pretty good story and world building. The world is vast, there is a lot of content without any padding, it's always engaging. There is a bit of everything for everyone, and you're not forced into any type of content, just play how you like, at your pace. This game respects your time.

The endgame is fun in my opinion and the legion raids are absolutely fantastic experiences that require skill and coordination with your party.

The game runs smoothly at all times even in intense scenes like world bosses with dozens of players spamming their spells.

About monetization: the game is a true free to play. You won't ever need to buy anything with real money. Paying can only make you progress very slightly faster, it's not even worth it. Your time playing the game is highly valued, as you are more incentivised to play the game than paying. Monetization mostly relies on small quality of life perks and cosmetics. Everything someone can buy with real money can be bought with in-game gold as well.

This game is incredibly fun, with deep and interesting mechanics that are all pretty well balanced to feel rewarding. Loot is always useful, even the lower rarities.

Some classes take more time to reveal their true nature but in the end all of them are really enjoyable to play. You have the freedom of the play-style, and there is no clear superior one.

The only problems I have with this game are purely technical. For me the game plays very smoothly and doesn't stutter, even in the heat of the action. But crashes can happen, I had a few of those. And multiplayer can lag sometimes. Overall, these issues are not affecting the experience so much and don't really break the fun or the will to play. When everything runs fine, it's an absolute blast and I highly recommend it.

Excellent combat perfected by a surprising amount of variety. There are so many bosses, and all of them are challenging and fun. The coop implementation is very well done and difficulty is just right. This game has a lot of replayability.
