The game is good from a gameplay stand point. It's Destiny and Warframe combined.

However I'm not recommending purely based on how bad the game runs. The game shares the same problems I had with remnant 2. No matter what settings I use I can't hit 60fps at 1080p.

Please developers stop using nanite and lumen or at least give the player the option to turn that off like they did for Robocop.

Will give props to the developers for not forcing us into making yet another account.

Good game. It's COD what more can I say?

Game ran fine up until the scene where Jin gets the sword then the game outright freezes while the audio plays fine. Was about to leave a positive review but sadly I cannot.

Do not waste your money on this until there's been SEVERAL patches released.

I have now changed my review to positive. We PC gamers managed to come together and put a stop to the account linking.

As good as the game is I cannot in good faith recommend this as this version of the game IS NOT COMPLETE. If you remake a game you include ALL the original content. Atlus in their infinite wisdom decided to cut DLC from the remake to sell us later and its not a practice that should be supported.

Damn shame.

I need to make this clear from the get go. I actually enjoy the game, its good the PC Port is decent.

However I cannot in good faith give this good review. Even though I purchased the new game plus DLC, I think this is a bad practice. Locking basic game features which have been free in other games and even in the other games in the Yakuza series is disgraceful and its a business practice that shouldn't be supported.

I got the game and DLC because I wanted the full game, don't make my mistake.

If you want the game wait for a sale, get it on the grey market or get a second hand copy on consoles. Do not give them money for this.

I'm not going to recommend it. I'll list the reasons why below.

- Poor Optimisation while this has improved with DLSS support its still bad.
- Boring Space Combat
- Rinse and Repeat gameplay when exploring planets with very little if any real variation.
- Too many loading screens
- Paid Mods incoming
- Mod tools not present with game currently which makes using mods a nightmare
- Ship Builder isn't easy enough to use and caused me more frustration than it needed too
- Levelling system is a joke and gates off the skills you want to use behind stuff you don't want to use removing any real ability to role play.
- The outposts is a worse version of the settlement system from Fallout 4 and adds nothing to the game
- Weapon / armour modding (not third party mods from nexus referring to in game modding) is a literal copy paste from Fallout 4 with zero improvements made. Along with a lot of weapon mods being locked behind skills / research and this includes basic mods like sights for example.

With all the above being said. I did have fun on the first play through where everything was new, but a second play though is likely not going to happen until the DLC comes out.

If you want a good space game then No Mans Sky is a good choice.

If you want a good Space/Sci-FI RPG then The Outer Worlds or New Vegas are good choices.

Was a good game, but adding Microtransactions this far after launch. If you wanna sell skins fine, but don't have premium currency rubbish and instead just let people buy the skins for actual money.

My advice: Wait for Dead Island 2 to come to steam, its a far better game, doesn't nickel and dime you.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5400
RAM: 16GB RAM

Settings: 1080p Medium settings, with DLSS set to Auto, RTX off. I get around 60fps, some areas I do drop into the 45-48fps range but the game remains perfectly playable.


As someone who isn't a big fan of harry potter, this game is amazing one of the best games of 2023 so far. PC Port isn't perfect but it isn't the worst I've seen, some minor stutter when loading in new areas but this doesn't seem to be affecting the gameplay at all. (Also there hasn't been any nVidia GPU released for the game as of the time of this review)

Default controls are good, but you can use a controller for the game if you wanted too.

Also shoutout to the developers for making the UI use mouse for navigation, not many games do that these days.

At its core as a game its fun to play, looking forward to diving into more of the game, It kinda almost gives off Fable 2 vibes.

Also no microtransactions, no always online (aside from stnadard denuvo check in), no lootboxes, no battlepass. One of the more consumer friendly games to be released.

Avoid buying until EA wake up and fix their damned servers.
