Game is great but the entire creator team was kicked out of Zaum. THey wont make any money if you buy this, just get it for free through *other* means.

Pretty basic old school shooter. If you like Warhammer 40k or want to play another (arguably well executed) boomer shooter then this is a great pick. But if you're already used to this gerne and are looking for a spin or something innovative i wouldn't buy this because it's just kinda basic

If you look at footage of this game and think "wow this looks really fun" then you'Re probably right because for the most part this game is very fun. There's just ONE single enemy that ruins it for me. It's bees that you encounter on stage 3. When you deal enough damage these bees don't just die, they blink for one second and explode and shoot projectiles diagonally. Killing them the right way is INCREDIBLY unsatisfying and their projectiles are hard to predict in big fights which leads to so many frustrating hits. Every other enemy incourages rushing in or moving into cover quickly but those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bees just force you to stand still and wait for them to die.

You could fix this by maybe making them explode and deal damage to other enemies. You could make strats where you push them into other enemies to deal damage and a big poof is way more satisfying than one last attack.

This game is great almost everywhere else but the bees are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying and frustrating that i feel like alt+f4ing out of the game every time i beat the second stage

You'll like this game If you're looking for the type of maps you'd find on source 2 bunny hopping servers. But i personally think that having more variating level design would (not just visually) be more fun and would make it more fun.

Changed my mind. After replaying AE a couple of times i noticed that it's probably one of the best games i've ever played. Pristine quality! This game doesn't have any half assed gimicks or anything like that. It's just a fundemantally good game.
