Good game with classic gameplay and alive multiplayer.

Unfortunately developers are too lazy to make cross-platform (Windows-Linux-MacOS) multiplayer possible.
This is bad because it splits already small playerbase.
Also they don't care to make support for DLCs on Linux.
Looks like they ditched the game and will never fix these issues.

Completed it once again, but with HD mods this time.
Still great and amazing.
Still worth more than any overpriced AAA game that was recently released.
Still holds "The Best Game Ever Made" award from me.

This game has broken multiplayer netcode. It causes loss of syncronization and various glitches if you play over Internet connection.
Game is still broken since release and after several patches. They promised to fix it, but never deliver.
Never buy from Behemoth again.

This game is an obstacle course and only 5 maps\lvls short.
There are no puzzles, only hazards and insta-kill obstacles.

Playing this game requires player to have:
heavenly patience
split-second reaction and sometimes pure luck
will to experience bazillion of fails\deaths with some portion of obstacles to get a little progress through map.
practice use of exploits to skip through portions of level and obstacles.

Game also punishes hard for exploration, requiring you to go through same obstacles again, and again, if you fail to go through them, and again, and again, and again...

No one is playing through maps as it meant to be, they practice to skip.

Basicaly this game is:
1lvl: Wow nice music, graphics and setting
2lvl: Cool! Getting a little harder. Ha, finished! That was nice!
3lvl: Ok this is getting rediculous, but I can do it. Got past that! Whew!
4lvl: Rage generator.
5lvl: Quit.

Do not expect this game to be like Portal or like Anti-Chamber.

If you like to read Sci-Fi\Cyberpunk, you will find world and setting of this game is nice. Story is good too. And that's it about what is good about this game...

I've bought this game with Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 in mind and it turns out to be disappointing.
Gameplay is lacking in depth and there is no open world, just series of maps with scripted events, where everything is static.
Game progresses from map to map, while you clicking through dialogs of characters you meet on the way. It really reminds me a linear point-and-click adventure.
Even combat and interesting character development system can't really make things up.
I'm really glad I've bought it on sales and not for the full price.
If devs did more work on game's concept they'd created an awesome "Fallout 1"-like game in Cyberpunk setting.

Don't even think to compare this game to GTA-series. It's very different from some stpd thug-simulator like Watch_Dogs or GTA.
Playing this game requires you to roleplay a detective of LAPD. Game is very immersive. City outside the buildings is vivid and alive. Graphics and sounds are very good.
Act like a restless and proud detective. Drive retro cars carefully, stop at traffic lights if not in a hurry, embrace the atmosphere of 40's, listen to some flavor music while driving to settle your mind boiling with clues and suspects from current case. Interogate victims and suspects, look carefully and gather clues at crime scenes, don't get shot in firefights and get upperhand at HtH brawls.
Take your part in ongoing plot.
Interogation logic could'be weird at times, but doesn't break immersion or plot. Cases could be solved faster if you ask right questions and find important evidence upfront. This promotes replayability of the game.

Verdict: This game is incredible if played right! Highly recommended.

This game is... astonishing... no words could describe it.
Everything is great about this game.
Fantastic visuals and animations. Very vivid and colorful.
Nice characters, dialogs and story. Great voice-acting.
Very enjoyable gameplay and good controls.
Not many games worth buying at full price these days, but this game is an exception!

9.9/10 - Highly recommended to everyone.

Not too bad console port. Graphics and controls are ok.
Game is dumbed down and scripted at some points.
Story is plain stupid. This game shows exactly why U S of A are crappy allies. Because it was designed and programmed this way so you have to kill allied soldiers to progress in game and you can't opt out from that.
