Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is a new version of the original game, just called Final Fantasy 14 Online, which came to be considered a complete failure. The title, available for PS3 and PC, did not disappoint in his recovery and has met the expectations of fans.
Realm Reborn is a very appropriate name for the game, as he was redone from scratch and this is already felt in its first minutes. Not just the game system, but also its history, characters and operation. Even those who were at advanced levels in the previous version here returning from scratch, entirely renovated.

And so resumes the story of Eorzea, where goes the adventure. Entitled to reset characters and a new mythology, the player gradually gets involved in the action and drama lived by this world. Arriving with his hero in a city, out of nowhere, it needs to give their all to be recognized as someone of value.

The character creation system is well done and complete. Even in the PS3, with commands totally focused on the joystick, it is possible to find and not get lost in the confusing menus. The game does not disappoint in this initial step and is quite complete in everything from races options the initial classes, through appearance setting.

The introduction also fulfills its role well, with a story narrated in the third person and scenes breathtaking, setting the stage for what the player must face over the next few hours - and they are many. As a true MMORPG, Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn has a lot of content.

As in any game genre, the evolution of the characters is due to the missions to be accomplished and advanced levels. Here the experience levels are back (remember they are gone in Final Fantasy 13?), Then the progression is natural. At each level, new skills and more news are unlocked, but there are some surprises.

The first is the possibility of moving level with each class available in the game and others that can be enabled. Unlike other online RPGs, it is not necessary to create several characters to test other classes of heroes. Here you can simply decide that tired of being warrior and changing careers, becoming mage or archer. Of course, this will reset the level that chosen profession, but the former remains.

This kind of change only adds personality of A Realm Reborn, striving to be a MMORPG different from the others, even though some follow successful trends - such as own missions. Fortunately the class system works very well, recalling the classic Final Fantasy Tactics at times - after all, many professions require various levels in others and so on, just as you learned in PlayStation 1.

In fact, much in the Realm Reborn seems to have been inspired by previous games in the series. Elements ranging from the class system up to some spells, elements, materials and so on. Overall, the game risks trying to please enough who is long-time fan, although it can be availed by those who favor recently.

We will not lie, the gameplay of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn fit like a glove to the game. Everything is very well fitted both on the PC, as the PS3. Play on either platform is a rewarding experience, which is even more impressive for console users.

It is worth mentioning that everything works well in DualShock 3 control, and even the PC version is fully compatible with an Xbox 360 control plugged into the computer. Commands are natural, menus can be easily accessed and attacks are activated easily, quickly and accurately, as a struggle requires.

This type of adaptation is played master of Square Enix, since the game can be availed on both platforms with just one account. Unfortunately you have to buy it twice, once on the PC and one on the PS3, to play with them, but later the first month tuition - $ 15 every 30 days - goes for both platforms simultaneously. A nice plus.

In addition, all the characters, friends list and historical are saved in both the PC and the PS3, the online server of the producer. This happens because the game is exclusively online, of course, but there is an advantage in this.

A Realm Reborn has decent graphics to be called a legitimate representative of the Final Fantasy saga. With the right effects jaw-dropping, neat monsters and spells with many special elements, the game does not make ugly, despite the PS3 version lose a little - just a little - the title on the PC.

Another point that stands out are the very cities. Some, at first, are very small, but then it changes exponentially. The player soon stumbles upon megacities, stuffed characters, either other players or the computer, but what matters here is the visual. A quick Internet search reveals, for those who do not have the game, as he is really beautiful in their environment, something that is difficult in a MMO, in many cases.
