Used 2 times at the beginning of my game. I found 4x4 is unnecessary in the base game.
It scares off the animals in the area and it can't travel far before ran out of fuel (luckily no need to return the vehicle).
This is a huntering game, be prepared to walk (run) a lot in these beautiful environments.

There are servers in Australia with low latency for Ozzie. :) Good sized maps and many (12+) of them to play in groups up to 250+.
I've play in 1080px on integrated Intel HD 630 GPU at 30fps. So it can be a good fun after work on a work laptop.
I will recommend this game to my friends who liked Battlefield series.
