When you first start the game you know nothing ...
But that you play this cute little knight that is surrounded by a bunch of bugs. Some friendly, some not so peaceful.
You don`t know where to go or what to do and without a map to keep track of where you`re going, you`re kind of lost most of the time. And while you keep exploring and adding piece by piece to the puzzle you slowly discover the truth about Hallownest, yourself and your fate and what/who is responsible for everything to be the way it is. And it seems to always keep going! This game is incredibly hard to get out of your head as you are sinking deeper and deeper into the story. The game drives you to explore and complete more and more and - care spoiler - even rewards you with different endings/ the true ending of the game if you keep going to the very end.

While it has a variety of very dark/mysterious moments it also shines with marvelous/ heart warming NPC interactions and
uplifting areas and soundtrack pieces.

Be warned though - It has a steep learning curve and can be very hard and frustrating at times. Some of the different bosses in this game are very challenging (and there are a lot of them) and when you first start even the small enemies can be very hard to deal with. It`s not an easy game but it`s worth every single minute you play and not only does it never get boring but rather pushes your interest and determination more and more as you keep going.

And with 3 free DLC`s that bring magnificent additional content, you get hours worth of distinctive gameplay.
