Excellent top-down run and gun game developed by Saurus and published by SNK in 1997 for the Neo Geo arcade system. It plays in the same vein as Jackal and Ikari Warriors on the NES.

Military themed, with a nice variety of weapons and enemies. Boss battles are tough but fair.

This was an arcade machine, so it is a quarter muncher that does not forgive.

Def one of the fav games on the Neo Geo and prob the best run n gun except Metal Slug.

Way better than Shock Troopers 2 as well!

EXCELLENT 8-bit rendition of a Run And Gun game in the same vein as Contra (NES). It is easy enough at first so newer players to the genre can jump in, but the difficulty does ramp up in later levels. Also lets you pick the level, ala Mega Man before beating any others. Also has a few different 'challenges' to make the game have replayability.

Although this game is short and easy to veterans of the genre, the awesome presentation and non-existent learning curve make this a blast from the (not) past! Def worth the price, and a steal when it's on sale. IMO one of the simplest yet more eloquent Run 'n Guns on the platform!

I finished this entire game in 15 minutes and it has absolutely no replayability. I am using the term "play" very loosely here as well.

The story is gut wrenching if you have been through this type of addiction experience before. If not, you probably will not relate to this game one bit.

I can only recommend this game if you get it for less than a dollar, or you REALLY need a kick in the ass.

Very well put together Batman game in the Beat 'em Up genre. Although gameplay it does get repetative, the story will keep you entranced throughout.

GTA but set in Hong Kong. Excellent game. Controls are a bit iffy, but you play this game for the story!

As a game, this is nothing more than a walking simulator on steroids. However, the real charm in this product is the Cultural Insights portion which teaches you all about the way of life for the natives in northern Alaska. It is a great way to learn about a new cultural between food, shelter and overall way of life for these people. Don't expect any deep game play, but expect a deep appreciation for this group when the credits roll at the end.

Finished the game in approx 8 hours. Very beautiful artwork, voice acting and story. The only issue I had was the repetiveness of the game play. It is a hack and slash after all, but there is not enough combos or differencing in the play styles. That aside, the story is well worth the play through alone - let alone the wrapper they put around it!

Fun little 20 minute game.

We all know this game shines above the rest in terms of story, gameplay, visuals, and everything else. There is no question that the game itself is a masterpiece.

Unfortunetly, the performance on this 'Remastered' version is abysmal and almost made me quit playing. I had two instances where auto-save did not work properly, the game crashed and I lost 1.5 hours of my time - each time. I had to go back and replay a lot of the game a second time just because of constant crashes.

If these were fixed, it would be a 9/10 game.

Cool platformer originally released on the Wii U I believe. It has a unique feature where you switch between 'light/dark' worlds to help navigate obstacles that might stand in your way. This game is pretty easy at first glance, but there is a LOT to do post game including new modes, totally new levels, and more. It is a very solid platformer that is relatively recent and beat out a lot of the competition.
