Commission Info

Regarding Gmod player model commissions, and specifically those related to GTA Online characters, here are some things you should know:

1.) MY BASE PRICE IS $35 USD - This is non-negotiable. This pack includes:

[*]Two outfits (Two pairs of pants, two pairs of shoes, two shirts, two jackets)
[*]Viewmodel arms (c_hands - arms for when you are in first person)
[*]Face posing and eye posing (Half-Life 2 basic face flexes, SFM if applicable will get HWM flexes)
[*]Multiple skins (For example, same head, different beards)
[*]Bodygroups (Interchangeable outfit parts. Also includes up to two of EACH as well as taking them on or off: hats, hairstyles, glasses, watches, earrings, necklaces, masks, etc.)

2.) SECONDARY PRICE IS $25 USD - This is for simple models that have no face posing and two outfits. This pack includes:

[*]Two outfits
[*]Small bodygroup options (On and off for accessories, or interchangeable, hat/no hat, glasses/no glasses, mask/no mask, etc)
[*]Viewmodel arms (c_hands - arms for when you are in first person)
[*]Eye posing

3.) PAYPAL AND GIFT CARDS - I normally only accept through PayPal, but sometimes exceptions are made. NEVER assume I will agree to a gift card and give me a code before I say yes or not. If you shaft me into a commission before I say yes, I will not do it. You have been warned! The needs for direct payment or gift cards varies, so please don't hesitate to ask!

4.) OTHER MODEL COMMISSIONS - Recently GTA Online has been the go-to, but if you're interested in something else we can look into it and see if it's possible. There are some games I personally cannot extract from because of lack of tools or me just now owning the game. Feel free to ask about it.

5.) PROCESS - The process has changed since Rockstar added BattleEye Anti-Cheat to GTA Online, so for both PC and consoles it's the same. The process is as follows:

[*]Send me screenshots of your character's creator screen with ALL options
[*]Heritage
[*]All Features with every slider visible so I can copy the appearance for extraction.
[*]All Appearance options with everything selected visible, including makeup eyebrows,
blemishes, etc. with the opacity visible as well.

[*]Send me all your clothing options, including masks, helmets, glasses, watches, etc. as well as the
DLC they're from (you can see this text appear at the body of the clothing menu when you're in a
STORE (not in your WARDROBE)

[*]Send me all of your tattoos with the names of the DLCs that they're from. (Same as clothing, DLC
is listed at the bottom of the Tattoos menu in the shop.

[*]Send me your hairstyle and hair color. (If eyebrows are different color, they'll be in the
Appearance options in the character creator.)

6.) A quick notice about how GTA handles certain things: Game engines vary, and GTA uses methods for things Source does not support. For example, specular (reflective) maps might not look the same in Source as they do in-game for GTA 5. GTA 5 also tints hair in-game, so all hair has to be photoshopped to match the color in-game. I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy on this, ESPECIALLY for highlights. And finally, GTA 5 uses an overlay method for tattoos, meaning tattoos are basically meshes wrapped around the body. I have not figured out exactly how this is accomplished, so tattoos are added directly onto the base texutre meaning tats that wrap around the entire arm could possibly have seams in the middle where they're meant to connect. I will do my best to clean it up or leave a gap, but I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy with tattoos.

7.) Final note: The player model packages are set in stone. There may be some wiggle room with certain things, but by and large the limits are what they are. If you want additional accessories and bodygroups and outfits, it WILL be extra. Exact prices are determined based on what extras you're getting.

I've had some nasty comments in the past about my commission prices, so I'll leave you with this:

There aren't a lot of people that do these kinds of ports anymore despite the interest. If you find someone else with a better price, feel free to go to them, but these things take time and a lot of trial and error to get right. It took many iterations of different player models to get to the quality level it's at now, and I am still improving as I make more.

I take time out of my days off work to do these ports. Please be considerate, and have a nice day :nmsgek:

Hey man - adding for advice on porting models from Skyrim. I've done it in the past (Dawnguard models on the nexus) but I've forgotten how to get past certain hurdles. No problem if you don't wanna.
