As a proof of concept, the game shows potential, but at the moment it's an unpolished and barebones experience. Can't fault it for that- the game makes it clear that this in in the Alpha stage, and for an Alpha, it's not bad.

The textures are decent, the faces could use more variety, as could customization options for male breeders. The animations are alright, but they could use more weight, perhaps incorporating the physics used during walking and running in real time. The dialogue is cringe, and I really truly hope that these are all just placeholders for something better to come further down the line.

Two features which would improve the game drastically are animated transitions from dialogue to sex, and some kind of revision to the current method by which you capture Nephelym. It wouldn't be enough to simply polish what is currently available and add more models. Better animations and a greater depth to the gameplay (outside of acquiring properties and money and so on) would radically improve the game.

Now, I understand that game development is not easy, and that it takes time, but this is all just my two cents.

Keep your eyes on this one. There's not much to it yet, but who knows? Wouldn't take much to make it better.

Ironsight isn't dead, it just moved to a new page because they got tired of Aeria Games. Good riddance.

Friendship ended with Aeria Games, Wiple Games is my new best friend.

See you in the new iteration of Ironsight, guys.

I want to start by saying that the game is fun, especially with friends.

No More Room in Hell is a zombie survival game, with two modes- either an objective based mode or a wave defense mode, both of which work infinitely better cooperatively.

Resources such as healing items, bandages for bleeding wounds, pills to slow the rate of infection, ammunition for firearms, and firearms themselves are relatively scarce, and to add to all this your inventory is limited. You have a stamina meter and even a single zombie can pose a great danger to an inexperienced player, so knowing what sort of weapon you have, how best to use it, when to shove, how to move, etc. is essential yet unimportant, and I'll explain why later in my review.

The game has a very good OST, which adds a nice ambiance to the variety of settings you will find yourself in, as well as a fair amount of maps (whose exact objectives or routes have variations of playthrough to playthrough), so one can't fault it there. It also looks very nice for a game running on Source, with well-captured animations for both zombies and player characters, nice models, and well-used textures and lighting. The game was going for a survival horror vibe, and it succeeds in that regard.

Where it doesn't succeed is consistency. Combat is important to a game like NMRIH. The horror-realism the game is going for is reflected by the slow rate of attack for melee weapons, scarcity of effective firearms and ammunition for those firearms. They seem to be encouraging you to take it slow, make every attack count, and pay careful attention to the way your enemy is moving to avoid taking damage or being infected. Unfortunately, that's not always how the game functions in practice. Weapons will whiff zombies that are clearly in range, zombies will ignore shoves even as they're gnawing on your face, and they have a godawful windmill attack that I've witnessed (and experienced) killing otherwise max health players in two hits. Your choice is to either tank one hit and shove it to cancel the rest of the attack, or back away- but "realism" dictates that everything behind the player character is made of molasses, and even if you weren't arbitrarily made slower than a tortoise when backpedaling, the range of this attack is ludicrous, being longer than the range of your heavy weapons (things like sledgehammers, large wrenches, fireaxes, you get the point).

The inevitable result is a lovingly crafted game with some interesting mechanics and awesome atmosphere cheapened by absurd, often unavoidable deaths that occur not because of an inexperienced player, nor due to the realism of the game's heavy-hitting combat, but rather, to put it bluntly, cheap nonsense that never got ironed out (and likely never will be ironed out, as I imagine the sequel the creators are developing is going to be quite a timesink to put together).

It's a shame, because the game has it's moments, and is not lacking in substance or charm, and it's certainly fun to play with friends (the online component being another matter entirely, though that's more the fault of the... vibrant and diverse playerbase, not the fault of the developers) but at the end of the day, is the game worth your time?

I say... Maybe. I'm quite divided on this game. I really want to love this game, but the handful of flaws really drag the whole experience down. That being said, the game is free, so I hesitantly recommend it. Download it, get your most competent friends to download it too, try out a few levels.

Just don't expect to always make it to the end.

The pinnacle of the classic Hitman titles, without a doubt. A fun story, interesting level scenarios, and an absurd degree of options for completing each objective as well as a ridiculous level of replayability, something that would take IO Interactive ten years to match. How replayable, you might ask? Well, I'll tell you one thing, this game's campaign isn't 290 hours long.

For anyone new to the franchise, this is the best one to start with in my opinion, as it's the least clunky, and the pathways to completing objectives are far less esoteric without feeling dumbed down. You will get stuck sometimes, but that's okay, it's part of the process. Don't jump in thinking "explosive action thriller"- think more along the lines of "stealth based puzzles, with murder elements".

Alan Wake is a linear, action-horror themed third person shooter with a story to tell. How best to describe it?

Resident Evil 4 meets Twin Peaks. If you like one or both of those things, you'll absolutely love this game.

Let's get the cons out of the way first, though really, they're minor gripes.

-This is an older title, but even relative to it's contemporaries, character models and certain facial animations don't look all that good. For the most part they get the job done, though.

-Some combat sections can be needlessly frustrating, though you'll never be stuck in them for too long.

-Certain sections of the game may leave you temporarily confused about where exactly to go, or what exactly to do, though this is relatively rare and generally won't last too long.

-Sequel baiting for a sequel that will likely never come (American Nightmare sort of counts, I guess, but it's SHORT.)

With that out of the way, the positives:

-Lighting and shadows look excellent for a game that came out in 2012.

-The story is interesting and well told, with solid voice acting across the board. You find collectible pages scattered across the game which add to the narrative without revealing too much.

-Gunplay is weighty, intense, and responsive. Enemies respond dynamically to being shot with weapons, lights being shined in their face, etc., and they almost always feel like a genuine threat. Even encounters with single enemies feel tense, especially for a first time player.

-This game bleeds atmosphere no matter where you go- maps feel like real world places, without having needless or superfluous areas, and more often than not reward exploration. There are lots and lots of little details to be found, whether during high or low intensity scenes, which add to the game's immersion and charm.

-The music accentuates each scene and encounter very well. Some tracks are cliche horror stings during high intensity moments, but most of it is great.

-There are small nods to certain... "other" properties Remedy Entertainment developed in the past, which are sure to make anyone who played those games grin.

Now, there is one quality of this game that is neither good nor bad- this game is short. Collectibles and achievements will give some replay value for anybody who beats the game loving it and wanting more, but even then, you're only adding a few more hours to a ten or so hour long campaign.

That being said, I can tell you that without a doubt, I was one of those people that ended up loving this game, and I am not alone. If any of this sounds like it's your cup of tea, this game is definitely worth a shot. If you're on the fence, or if fifteen dollarydoos sounds a little steep for a 10-12 ish hour experience, there's no shame in buying this game while it's on sale, and it seems to go on sale fairly regularly for a good bargain. (At the time of my writing this review, it's on sale for three USD!)

Devil Daggers is a fast paced, addictive shooter whose simplistic graphics and level (that's right, just the one!) betray it's complex gameplay.

There is no narrative or story of any kind. You press play and you survive as long as you can, though if you've never played arena-based shooters OR wave-survival games, you're gonna have a bad time.

I was shocked by this game. So many others of it's kind are rather generic, but the presentation, the moody ambiance and dark lighting, the monster design and so on... This game has a sense of tension and sheer horror that narrative-based survival horror games only wish they could provide. So many games are merely horror THEMED, but something about the lightning fast pace and the enemy design as you continue to progress is downright unsettling.

A constant feeling gnaws at you- a feeling that you are fighting against eldritch horrors, that assault you in their multitude, and that their sheer number is insurmountable... Which makes defeating those odds all the more satisfying.

If any of that sounds like your cup of tea, then this game is well worth the money if you ask me, and considering the asking price, what are you doing if you don't already own this game?

This is a good game, but if you go into it with the mindset of it being a "racing game" you'll be disappointed. This ain't Need for Speed (or even DiRT 4) the same way Black Ops 3 isn't ARMA 3. Approaching it with the mindset that the game is doing it's damndest to simulate real cars and how they handle on real terrain with the proper physics and all, you'll have a much better idea of what you can expect to get.

The sound is incredible, and the game looks very sharp and runs suprisingly well. I've not exactly got a toaster, but my hardware is outdated by a generation or so, and it runs smooth as butter on mostly ultra settings, with damn near photorealistic skies, backgrounds, lighting, reflections, not to mention the weather. I can't stress this enough, certain tracks look absolutely gorgeous.

The learning curve is steep, and every track seems to provide a new challenge just as soon as you've overcome the last one, which I don't consider a bad thing in the slightest. On top of everything else, this game features proper mod support rather than the gimped money-grubbing garbage some certain games are trying to pass off as "workshop support" which is a big plus in my opinion.

All in all, this is a fantastic game. The experience it provides is as fair, rewarding, and fleshed out as it can be daunting, challenging, and frustrating. 10/10 would Press Y to Recover Vehicle again.

People whining about how terrible this game is and how it's ruined the franchise or whatever obviously haven't played DMC 1 or 2. If they have, it was back when they were saucer-eyed little kids on the PS2.

Is it the best game ever? No. Is it the best DMC game ever? Debatable, but survey says no for the most part. But this game is not only good, for the most part it's great, and it absolutely did not deserve the backlash it received upon launch. Is the combat as complex and intricate as DMC 3? No, but for the most part, it's satisfying and complex enough to feel like you've got options. Is the story as good as DMC4? No, but you know what? Story has never been this franchise's strength anyways- it's all about style and gameplay, and this game has that in spades. If money is no object, it's absolutely worth it. If your bottom line is tight, consider waiting until the game is on sale. You won't be missing out too much if you don't buy it and purchase something like Bayonetta instead, but at the same time I personally reccommend you give this game a shot.

The only entry in the F.E.A.R. series worth buying, and I say this as someone who bought every entry and played through it all multiple times. Don't waste your time, or your money, with anything else.

And, as per usual, mods are your friend.

Conceptually and thematically speaking, this game would have been amazing- the first two episodes that were released convey the promise of a surreal and dark noir thriller. However, It is not finished, and from my point of view it seems that this game will never be finished. I do not, or rather, cannot in good faith reccomend this game. I will retract this statement should this project be continued and completed in the future. Until then, there are cheaper games out there that are actually completed that you can waste your money on.
