The facts are that the team was rushed to release this DLC and it came out really bad. Obviously, they cannot say this as they are at risk of getting fired. There is no other feasible reason as to why they would be willing to put in so much work fixing it otherwise, even inviting people to sign an NDA, playtest the new changes and give feedback. They even implemented some new important systems for modders and fixed many bugs. They were no longer under a time constraint, and without higher-ups breathing down their necks. I was one of those testers and the devs are all really nice, communicative people. With that experience in mind, there is no way the initial release was finished at all, nor was it their choice, it just doesn't line up.
