Bugs that should have been fixed, namely the multiplayer bugs, still persist and that's sad.

I love the new driving dynamics, however, a large part of my desire for 2018 has been let down by the fact that the multiplayer experience still sucks. CM did not fix the issue with players lagging out and holding up a game for 3+ minutes, This is a major issue which detracts from the multiplayer experience significantly.

There's a lot to like, but it's not possible to recommend this game any further given that the multiplayer experience is so far behind other 2018 games.

Unfortunately the game is unplayable in 4k given that it has very bad screen tearing issues. I tried for many hours to make the game playable but given the screen tearing issues I could not get immersed in the gameplay.

I find it unacceptable that an $80 game on Steam is unable to implement VSYNC properly. I have no issues in 4k with other games such as F1 2017 and Vanquish, both work great.

This is a do not buy until the screen tearing in 4k issue is fixed!

Started with 2016, everything in 2017 is better, you can literally feel the handling difference between the years. F1 2017 has much more dynamic steering, even with the same assists set as 2016. It's the first thing you notice.

The graphics are slightly better, I say this running a GTX 1080 @ 4K, although if you're looking for graphical updates, I don't think they did a great job. The skin tone of the humans they put in the cut scenes is hilariously white and pasty on my screen. Otherwise, the graphics are slightly better in every way, except for weather, which is much better done in my opinion.

Career mode is MUCH different, you really feel like you're starting out in an independent team or something, as you must invest in reliability and build from the ground up. You will be making compromises to finish races, much unlike 2016, but much more like real life. Obviously the new upgrade system is off the hook.

I highly recommend 2017 and will go back to playing it now! LET'S RACE ONLINE PEOPLE!!!
