The game in it's current state isn't in any way believable. Gothic 1 so great, among other things, was the characters. They were criminals. Aggressiv, boorish, rough. But the most important thing: They only spoke when they were spoken to, at most told you something when you asked for it. And only in the best of cases. In all other cases, you were beaten up.

But now we have a character who speaks more to himself in the intro video than the nameless hero has to speak in the entire 1st chapter of the original. Shortly afterwards we meet our old friend Diego. Only this time not as the reserved crook that he is, but as a friendly chatterbox that cannot fail to tell you half of his life story. Of course, without being asked.
That was the point at which the game completely lost me. Character interaction should be rethought from scratch.

I won't even talk about technical problems since it's a prototype. These are self-evident and I am grateful to be able to take a look at the game so early. But if the characters continue to behave the way they do at the moment, i don't think this will work out.

Gothic lives from its harsh world and the even harsher characters it populates.

No updates for weeks. Developer probably starved to dead due his gambeling adiction.
Hope i follow him soon.
