Fire Sounds are pretty lit

Paper beast is gorgeous gorgeous game. Honestly I was a bit hesitant purchasing this game but since it was on humble bundle I went for it. Honestly, the amount of time played is not an accurate representation of the quality of a game especially on VR. As even though I barely have 5 hours on this title right now, I do plan for it to be my go to as a tech demo of sorts to showcase the game when people come over.

There were sooo many instances at which I found myself stunned by the beauty of the game both the visuals and sound design goes hand in hand really really well. Like even though there was no clear story or voice lines, I found myself developing a sense of connection with the well, Paper Beasts.

Sable is a unique getaway that does the exploration formula right.

100% the game in 20h or so

Cons:
- Non Gameplay Bugs (things like map markers that cannot be removed)
- Gameplay Bugs (Falling through solid ledges or walls - mostly only met when climbing)

Pros:
- Beautiful Beautiful Artstyle
- Music *chefs kiss*
- Satisfying Exploration and Collectible hunting
- Freedom to approach objectives and well game in general
- Characters are developed despite little interaction
- Quests are engaging
- Puzzles have unique and satisfying gimmicks

PS: If you see this review before buying the game Id advice to hold off on a bike called the 'speedster' as it is an end game bike that u can get pretty early on which might ruin the whole bike progression excitement.

I dont think people who really enjoy the game knew they were going to enjoy it. I own a VR headset and as much as I hate to admit it, I have spent more than half of my time in VR in this game compared to 7 other titles i own

Got this game a few weeks after launch. During those darker times what carried the game and made me keep playing would the the map - environmental story telling of both pre and post apocalypse individuals, how they died, last words etc. Right now, the game has grown to be so much more than just that. Imo its worth the price tag, just uhm be prepared to having to deal with bugs here and there......... But hey the community is great so thats a plus
