Amazing game, would absolutely recommend.
Super satisfying fighting mechanics: I love this style of combat, it makes you feel like a god even though you might not be more than a casual player. Smooth and easy to understand controls regarding combat, though at times it can be a little clunky, but that is rare.
Story was a little annoying and un-motivating to go through, but that might be just me.
This game is one of the only games that I have been motivated to continue on after completion of main story, there are tons of stuff you can do after you've completed the main game, but not too much so you get overwhelmed.
I have not yet to play any of the DLC that comes with this edition, but I bet it is good.

you get very bored of the gameplay. very repetitive and draining. one level takes maybe 5 minutes out of the easiest, and 30 on the harder ones where there are little instructions. very annoying going through one of the harder ones just to see there is a near identical level right after.

its pretty good but it wont let me past the gate in chapter 8 and it didnt tell me how to get past in game. i did some research and found out i had to collect some stones, one for every chapter. that means i have to play half the game all over again if not more just to get past that gate.

Mirror's Edge is one of the best games you can add to your steam library, and it is one of my personal favorite games of all time.

Pros:

Short Campaign: The main story is relatively short, which may leave some players wanting more.

Occasional Frustration: Mastering some parkour sections can be tricky and may require multiple retries, which can interrupt the flow of gameplay.

Limited Combat Options: Combat can feel clunky and isn’t as polished as the movement mechanics, though it’s still a very minor part of the overall experience and you can basically skip it entirely.

Overall: Mirror's Edge is a unique, memorable game that’s perfect for anyone seeking something fresh and fast-paced. If you enjoy parkour, a striking visual style, and an immersive world, this is a fantastic title to check out.
