It is the first time that I play a game from the Yakuza saga and I am very happy with the product that I have paid for and this message goes to people who are not convinced about buying games sometimes, but I have given Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name a chance
and I am really enjoying the game and have pre-ordered Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Now I am a super fan of the saga and I will buy the previous ones :D

- Story: Kiryu Kazuma and ex-legendary yakuza is forced to fake his death and leave behind his entire life including his family, wife and son.
After being hidden for a while, the problems that he had left behind come back to him and once again he will have to solve them with blows and blood along the way.
As you progress through each chapter you realize who your allies could be, but sometimes the eye deceives and everything is revealed at the end.

The ending made me cry a lot and broke my heart and makes you realize what it really means to love your family very much.

- Main and Secondary Missions: Something I have to highlight is that the main story is great and you understand everything.
All types of missions are super satisfying and the secondary missions are not very long since these same missions are what give you money and experience to level up with Akame

It doesn't matter if you are not a fan because with my experience I always recommend trying games even if you see that they are not your style because it has changed my life and now I love the series and I will buy future titles.

it's really great u liked the game but it's a shame you started with this game cuz this is arguably the worst starting point for anybody trying to get into the yakuza/like a dragon series. it really spoils the past mainline games and is quite literally a direct sequel of yakuza 6. it's like skipping to the last chapter of a book. anyone reading this comment, just start with yakuza 0 and work your way up.

i uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what? Haruka is his adoptive daughter, and hes her guardian, while Haruto is a kid both of Yuta and Haruka.

Good review but Haruka is Kiryu's adoptive daughter not his wife :CatTrophyCollectible:

Yakuza and Like a Dragon are the same series and the games "Judgment" and "Lost Judgment" are spinoffs. I strongly recommend you start with Yakuza 0 (the prequel), then Kiwami 1 and 2 (these are from-the-ground-up remakes of the first two games on PS2), then 3 4 5 remasters, then 6, then Yakuza: Like A Dragon (Yakuza 7, but new protag and they used this game to switch to calling it the translated version of its actual name in japan). LAD: Gaiden is a giant side-story to the upcoming LAD: Infinite Wealth (basically Yakuza 8) and it's meant to be the last game that has the gameplay introduced in 0 and and used in 6, Kiwami 1, and Kiwami 2. LAD: Ishin you can play any time after you play 0 as it reuses a lot of the same actors and the characters they play are inspired by the characters they play in 0.
