Hello Games continues to be dedicated to improving this game 3 years out from launch. They've delivered consistently over the last year, with much more still to come. I joined later than many, but I've put already put near a hundred hours into the game and I still haven't lost interest. Some of the community content recently is what has really made this game fun (hubs, mapping black holes, explorer's guilds, etc). Can't recommend NMS enough.

Great if you have VR and a wheel. Ok otherwise.

Early access, rough around the edges, but really fun once you get the controls down.

If you ignore the uplay DRM and DLC, it's still a good game. That's what ultimately matters IMO

It's a simple yet challenging strategy game with beautiful visuals and great overall design

This game has taken over my life the past few months. The developers are so in sync with their fanbase in terms of new content that it should remain fresh for a while. And it has, in my opinion, everything that defines the perfect game:

* Replayability - it ages well and doesn't get old quickly
* Multiplayer: separation of competitive and casual modes and cross-platform online
* Simplicity - Easy to learn, difficult to master
* Customization - absurd level of combinations in both gameplay and vehicles
* Content - free updates and inexpensive (and non-required) DLC nearly every month
* Community - between the developers' support and the community at /r/RocketLeague, I don't think I've found many games that can compare

If you've never played, I'd highly recommend it. Without a doubt one of the greatest games I've ever played
