Hard to believe I'm finally replaying Katawa Shoujo over a full decade later.

I grew up with a handful of auto-immune diseases, so when I played this game in early 2013 I felt an immediate connection to the game. There are some rough edges here and there for sure, but to this day it remains near to my heart. Its the very definition of a passion project and it really shines through in how each character develops, MC included, over the course of each route.

I really don't have any interest in setting up a Pl*ystation account, and knowing that I will lose access to the game if I refuse to make one is just going to make me dig my heels in. I personally don't believe I would be the most effected by the current policy change, but I can't recommend a game that institutes such a massive barrier to entry for such a large amount of people well after launch.

I'm not gonna suddenly have some grand insight given how much buzz is surrounding this game.

It's a fun little cooperative horror rogue-like that is an absolute blast to play with friends.

I'm an absolute mark for Payday, but I'm not gonna recommend this installment to anyone.

As of writing this there is:
-No offline lobbies
-No lobby filter for stealth/loud
-No voice chat
-No lobby chat
-No way to delete items taking up inventory slots (Gotta buy more slots)
-Constant matchmaking issues
-Unclear/vague progression systems (You're gonna have to google the XP systems if you wanna know how they work, nothing in the game itself talks about it.)

With each new chapter of DbD I am forced to temper my expectations. There has been more misses than hits in the past few years, so I'm glad to say that Xenomorph is incredibly refreshing.

Not only is Xeno fun to play, it's fun to play against. This is high praise from someone that generally doesn't enjoy playing survivor. Xeno strikes an amazing balance in my opinion, and I highly recommend checking this chapter out.

If not getting to see one extra panty line makes you have a panic attack you probably need to get your priorities straight

if the content description on the store page doesn't turn you away then I HIGHLY encourage you to check out the free demo and give the game a chance

I used to have a huuuuge hyperfixation on this series around the time that Fatal Frame IV originally came out, was devastated by the thought I would never be able to play a clean translation of this game, but that day is finally here!
Game runs amazing, though mouse and keyboard menu controls are a bit clunky with no mouse support.

I left a negative review on Prehistoric Kingdom so I think it's only fair that I recognize the developers' other work for how fantastic it can be. This is everything that someone could want in a zoo management game and more. It may take some practice to really build an amazing exhibit, but it's POSSIBLE and a worthwhile experience.

It pains me to have to say this, but I cannot recommend this game to new players looking for a Red Dead experience. RDO has been almost entirely abandoned by Rockstar and Take-Two for some time now. Hackers run wild and glitches have gone unsolved for the better part of a year. If you're into roleplay you might be able to find value there as it is entirely user-generated.
