The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a special place in my heart. I've had this game since 2014 when I was just a wee lad and had some great memories with this game. Skyrim was also my introduction to open-world games in general. However this game is a clunky dumpster fire rolling off a cliff on it's own.

Honestly I've probably spent more of my time modding and troubleshooting this hock of ♥♥♥♥. So even if you do mod it chances are you'll run into problems where the game won't start, an increase in bugs and clunk, or even the game deciding that it can't find textures that it already has by default even after uninstalling the 1000 mods you had.

Long story short, If it's a pig then don't bother putting makeup on it.

This must be the dark timeline. The launcher refuses to do it's job to launch the game.
