This is one of the better ways to do a remake of a game compared to other games out there. The core gameplay alone is much better in this version than the 2005 version. You can move and shoot at the same time. Unlike the previous one, you had to stand still and aim and shoot. Granted, it made the game easier, but nowadays, it just plays better. Everyone is flipping out about the new voice characters. I think Leon is fine. I completely prefer Ashley in this one over the original, but Ada is the weakest because she doesn't have any emotions with her voice, but that could be because of the character. The merchant is probably the most disappointing, just because he doesn't have a uniqueness to his voice anymore. There is cut content but honestly, most of the cut content was annoying rooms, or QTE. The story is fine but honestly, it just feels like they just forced so much into one game. I never really even cared for the story in the older one as well. If you like resident evil, this is probably one of the better ones out on the market. This one in the original one will probably go back and forth to a lot of people which one's better, but This game is a good game in the end. Grade A
