literally dont even bother with people who downvoted this game, their reviews are either about complaining about crashing, or pouring out their life story about waiting 8 years (which they probably havent for ♥♥♥♥.) the game was only released so early for people who loved warband and saw the trailers of bannerlord, and couldnt wait to play it. they released it early for their community, so nice one to those who were raised with a silver spoon and think they have the right to be entitled. maybe they're also the ones who are crying about auto-block too, lol.

A game with solid potential in both single player, and multiplayer, ruined not by paradox, but the outrage of entitled neckbeards always needing more, and more. Yeah? In all your 35 years you haven't written a review and now you have to write one specifically for a game that takes massive loads on Eu4 with in-game fighting mechanics, and puts the rest of paradox's empty games to shame? It is utterly disappointing to how such a community who is actually alright with with the so called "tactics" of eu4 and crusader noob kings, could actually ♥♥♥♥ on imperators tactics when there is legit freedom for how you want to go into battle. "Oh clicking a button is revolutionary? never knew.....Lul...." Yeah it kinda is with all the static ♥♥♥♥ we've been tossed with, relying actually on dumb pimps and leader skill. Maybe thats where all of you complain though, the fact you don't want to here paradox's games have potential, but want to see more detailed versions come out immediately, and dont want to pay for 1/4 of a game. I can see reason in that, but when all of you put up for it with eu4, ck2, and even sterllaris citing it as "great dlc! keep it up! :)" it destroys any sense of these arguments i've seen. Yeah, its a little weird at first to see my barb named "cohorts," I wonder if it might be because the game is seen through rome's eyes however. And with the gladiatoral events reaching all the way up to scandinavia, breaking immersion, duels and hosted events like that happened widespread, even in barb country, even in china, Look it up. Its all so tiring, seeing a crowd of mindless hordes that dont even play for more than 3 hours completely pull their life story out to explain how this game didn't meet the pinnacle of their expectations. I got to see an event where my researcher, his wife, and some dude were involved, thinking that the wife cheated on him. The dudes actually were the ones going at it and the wife found out, citing for justice, and i couldn't stop crying from laughter while i was sitting there with my friends. It is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like that which makes a game memorable, and if you don't even play for 10 hours to see what its like, what the actual hell are you doing with your life.

best game in total war for strat instead of mindless slaughter. armies use to retreat in bulk, however, with the twist of japan, you will most definitely find it fun that it wont be your army of hardened samurai that retreat, but the peasants who are unruly and need to be cut down like straw to a scythe.
