I love this game. I love the elements hinting at a totalitarian state, the hidden gems here and there, the challenges and endless. But most of all I love watching people die in slow motion. It never gets old.

Choose your music of choice, turn it up to 11, choose your character and enter one of the most gratifying games I've ever played. Nuclear Throne is a game of weapons, mutations and dying. So much dying. While there is a way to end the game without dying you can if you choose to; play the game until you die long past any point of reason. With colourful characters like Fish, Plant and Rebel, fantastical guns such as Grenade Shotgun, Super Crossbow and Laser Minigun not to forget our adverseries, Necromancers, Salamanders and... Lil' Hunter; Nuclear Throne is a game of immense replayability and wonderful fun. Honestly I think if you enjoying shooting things and enjoy a challenge Nuclear Throne is the game for you, it's as simple as that. I guess I should put down some kind of benchmark for the difficulty. If you found the original Binding of Isaac was a mountain to climb, Nuclear Throne is colonising Mars with a tuna sandwich and some cardboard boxes.
