Edit: I finished the game. After getting used to combat mechanics it doesn't take much to finish it. It should take 2-3 hours to finish and this makes game feels like demo of a cool game. I hope devs fix controller issues and add more content in future.

Edit: I switched to keyboard & mouse and tweaked keybindings for my liking. Currently having a blast.

Pros:
- This game smells passion.
- I like color palette and world setting.
- Actions are fluid and feels snappy. (But with controller I couldn't do cool moves like in trailer though because couldn't get used to controls yet)
- 2D Sekiro(ish)
- Music theme is chilling.

Cons:
- Horrible controls in general.
- Enemies can change their direction after they started their attack. This defeats the purpose of dashing or rolling to behind of opponent.
- Game is real short. After getting used to combat you can finish it in 2-3 hours.
- You can see there are many elements in the game that were intended to be made but weren't. For example you can collect many piece of armors or swords but they just stay in your inventory for no reason. There are no vendor you can trade them with.

Comments:
- As a comment I see it's a design choice but I wish chi was recharging itself, it would encourage player to use various attacks.
- There should be an indicator for saving. I can't be sure if game is saved or not.
- Some basic idle animations would make big difference if you ask me.

Fix those then have my like:
- Performance problems
- Changing proton version locks game for 24 hours

From what I have in 10 hours of gameplay (mostly tweaking settings) with 15-20 fps, game seems good but I just cannot experience it fully with current performance issues. I have AMD 6700 gpu and ryzen 5 5600 and 32 gb ram btw.


Update: I'm not sure how my gameplay time increases. I didn't touch the game for 2-3 days. It should be 10 hours max.

I discovered this game around the time I met my wife. Now we have a happy marriage. We're not actively trying, but I think we could have a baby before the game is released. However I'm hopeful that the game will reach the final version before our unborn child starts elementary school.

A promising title. There are big holes in story and gameplay mechanics (as expected since the game is still in early access),
Finished the game in single player and my overall score is 7/10. Definitely will check the game again after final release.

Pros
- Amazing visuals.
- Cool gunplay.
- Base building is fun.
- Cave exploring is scary as f*ck.

Cons
- Needs more content in general.
- Needs more elements in base building.
- Base building provides little to none advantages. Literally no reason to build except it is fun.
- AI should be improved.
- Melee combat is not really interesting.
- Sound design need to be improved.
- Who the hell is the silver jacket dude?
- Hey Kelvin, I wanted you to gather some fraking logs! Don't follow me to other side of the island g*ddamit!

This game needs more attention folks! BUY THIS ♥♥♥♥ ALREADY!
