Day 1 Player here:
At first, I would have said to wait some time until all the bugs and server issues were fixed before buying. But now, most of said problems have been addressed and fixed. There are SOME matchmaking issues here and then, but for the most part, the devs have fixed the game. If you're still wondering whether it's a good time to buy, NOW IS THE TIME. The devs increased the server capacity and now there are no queues to get into the game (at least for me and the people i know). The devs have been rolling out updates almost on a daily basis, and keeping in touch with the player base. You can really tell they care about their game and their players... not something you can say a lot these days.
As for the gameplay, I'm sure you've been bombarded with content on social media and youtube, so no explaining needed there. Squad-based shooter with a funny "democratic" twist to it that keeps it engaging and tough for everyone. It's fun with rando's but the game truly shines when playing with your closest mates. Solid 10/10
