Look, gameplay? Top notch. The open world, the freedom, the tactics—you can get lost in it for hours, and it’s super satisfying. Combat feels great, and sneaking around is a blast. I totally get why people love that part. And there is no other game that comes close to this even today.

But the story? Man, it’s a mess. So many loose ends and unanswered questions. It just... stops. The ending feels like a slap in the face, especially if you played "any" previous MGS entry. Compared to the old games, even Peace Walker, it’s not even close. You can tell they didn’t finish it, and that’s frustrating. Almost like KONAMI decided to fire Kojima in the middle of the project.

Amazing game mechanics, but the story just isn’t there. Disappointing for me. I had higher expectations at least for the story aspect.

This would be somewhere in the middle instead of thumbs down if Steam had an option.

Bu DLC'deki taşları beğenecek misiniz? Dediğim gibi tam bir taş hayranıysanız belki. Ama kesin olan bir şey var... her taşın altında sizi bekleyen bir hayal kırıklığı yatıyor.

Burada arabanızı devirmekten ve süspansiyonun arasına giren minik çakıl taşlarından 300 damage almak dışında bir şey yapmayı umuyorsanız başka bi DLC'ye bakın.

Just a warning that this isn't a "game", more like an interactive story.

Much improved note detection over the 2014 version.

Everything else is worse. Most importantly it is based on a subscription model. I would say avoid like plague and play the 2014 version but hey, Ubisoft delisted it because otherwise nobody would pay for this...

Don't give your money to Ubisoft.

Fast paced and performs well.

The game works perfectly fine on Windows 11 23H2 if you install the right codecs. It has a dependency to LAVFilters to play videos. If you are getting a codec related error/warning and can't see videos in the game, you will need to install LAVFilters. If you don't, apparently it also causes some issue on the last boss fight to prevent progression.

The game includes LAVFilters-0.62.exe on its install folder but this is now 10 years old. Don't install these.

Go to https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases and download the latest release (such as
LAVFilters-0.79.2-Installer.exe). Install these and you should be able to see the videos.
