I can't in good conscience recommend this game. The fun pimps don't really know what they want to do with the game. It isn't a completed game and it most likely never will be. It is and has always been really jank. Filled many countless bugs and a whole host of other issues. The animations, especially for multiplayer are and have always looked horrible. it has many performance issues and has always had performance issues. If the game was still at it's original price, I could recommend it on sale but never at the full old price. Now that the price has increased considerably. I sadly can't recommend it at all. There were lots of planned features in the past that never got implemented. Maybe due to time restraints, maybe because what they wanted to do was too hard for the dev team. Who knows why it's still in the state it's in. it feels like the devs just got sick of the game being in alpha / early access and said screw it. Lets just pretend to release it as a full game with an increased price despite it not being anywhere near a full game.

Played this when it was free to play. It was a fun little ccg with a similar model to most card games where you could buy packs of cards. I just thought i would give it another go since back then the content was quite lacking for my taste but with the move to buy to play however, I no longer get any enjoyment out of this game. the excitement you get from opening a new pack no longer exists and that's something that should exist in every card game. there's no sense of accomplishment from paying for everything right off the bat and even then when you buy the dlc's you only get some cards from the dlc, the rest you have to wait for. You can't just spend your gold to buy packs like you used to be able to and that's a big no no for card games for me personally. the core identity of what a card game should be in my opinion doesn't exist with faeria anymore and i can't get behind this business model. Expansions are good for a card game but having a system where you have to first sink hours into the game to level up just to craft cards and even then you can only craft a certain number, then have to wait for a cooldown to craft more. If you're looking for a good card game then i suggest eternal instead.

I've played this for an just over an hour and have found literally nothing to do. The game's story is that you're a ball of light trying to get home which is fine. However, it gives you nothing at all to work with and it's meant to have riddles and puzzles, clues etc but it doesn't tell you what type of clues or riddles you're supposed to be actually looking for and you just end up going around in circles forever and ever and it gets very very boring, very very fast. The idea is nice and I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The graphics are nice. The soundtrack is nice for 5 minutes and then just gets annoying.

I would advise you to not buy this game whatever you do. You'll be doing nothing the entire game and if you do manage to finish a chapter. It might end up just being through luck since the clues and riddles aren't obvious at all.
