MK11 is just a really well made fighting game with almost endless replayability tons of gamemodes, challenges, ranked play etc. The characters are great, each one does something different for themselves and noone feels useless (except maybe Sheeva). This game also got the best netcode I've encountered in a fighter so far and a still active community.

Gameplay feels different than previous MK titles but excels at footsies and strategy, It can almost feel like playing chess trying to bait for an opening for your combos and KBs. Fatal Blows can feel pretty cheap but if you get caught by one it's mostly because you did something unsafe.

Character customization is one of the greatest I've seen in a fighter so far. Almost every combination makes your character look different and there is a ton to unlock.

The crypt got perfected in this game. To the point of almost being a game in itself. I spent a lot of time unlocking every path and opening all the chests, impaling the heads etc. Felt really rewarding and great.

I also liked the possibility to directly play towards the cosmetics for the character you play with the character towers. Unlocking brutalities, Intros etc was very fun.

I will look forever fondly at this part of the MK Series and I can only recommend starting here if you want to get into the MK Franchise.

Now let's see if NRS can even improve the experience further with MK1, they outdid themselves with MK11.
