its a great game. literally every negative review is from a man child consumerist who can only say "thing now" while perpetually searching for a petty hill to die on

im really not sure how a game that failed so spectacularly on delivering what it set out to not only managed to suceed, but to suceed and lead to a whole series of presumably terrible games. the only thing i can come up with is the art style hit it off big with little kids, who quite frankly will play terrible games ad infinitum.

Dev is using his game as a platform to spew hate speech and has generally abandoned any sense of professionalism. do not give them money.

most games you figure out in an afternoon, WoT is one that your still learning after a week of playing. so much diversity content and strategy. the most rewarding free to play game ive played to date.

Biggest Con, wargaming has a terrible match making system, that will consistently give you terrible teams if you are in a premade platoon, and will consistently place you in games with 3 tiers of tanks. effective feeding the lowest tier to the highest

Game has a Great competitive edge, alot of strategy and decision making. cutting off enemy respawns to get ahead in the long run, waiting to regroup to sweep the win, playing counter sniper. also the world needs more PVPVE which this game does a great job with. overall there are some really well founded elements to outsmart and outplay your enemy, from stealing spawns to luring enemies, you can also steal the win, which gives an undermatched team a chance to comeback for the win. the characters also have great subtlety to them, alot more then meets the eye.

the majority of the negative reviews I've seen can be summed up as "i quit rather then think on my feet and learn something genuinely new" complaining about broken combos of characters or no incentive to do anything other then "swoop the win", to all these people i say simply this: get, gud, scrub.

too rarely do we see games that offer a genuinely unique play experience. and for that Hood is a pioneer.

usually when you play a VR game, it feels like 40%-70% game and the rest is gimmic. this is one of few titles ive played that feels like 100% video game and the control format just happens to be VR. great survival mechanics, good scopes. nice and spoopy.

Great game, its got good guns good missions, good enemy variety, and the most important thing - Hype. shouting rock and stone like a space dwarf frat boy never gets old.

gave the game a shot a few times. really couldnt get into the whole time trial aspect, you get to spend maybe 2:30 on a floor. meaning getting all the resources is more of a race then anything else, somthing that usually doesnt feel great in VR, and this is no exception. i was expecting a bit more of a puzzle experience or just a chill mining game.

TLDR: not a fan of time trials. rushing in VR doenst feel good.

absolutely in love with this game, the delivery of the lines is STELLAR. and the setting is super well imagined and executed. it also has some of the better noir UI ive seen in a game. would reccomend for anyone who loves a good mystery or a great audio book.

Gotta love well thought out combat and progression. looking forward to what else is in store.
