Amazing

This review is from the perspective of someone who has never played DnD, any other CRPG or in fact any turn based game (except Pokemon lol).
This game was not even in my radar. I generally played real time action RPGs like Skyrim and Elden Ring. But when big youtubers came out and stated this is a definite game of the year and you don't need to know all the rules and lore to get into the game, I was interested. The gameplay that youtubers showed looked fun even though it was turn based.
Now the reality:
- Even with no clue of the stats and races and classes, I did not feel too overwhelmed by the character creation. Primarily because I chose my character based on cosmetic appearance :)
- Game started out strong, with amazing cutscenes and voice acting.
- Initial combat was ok but not great. I hoped things will pick up pace once the tutorial area is done with.
- But things only went downhill from there. There was a goblin attack with 7-8 goblins in the arena and that's when the pace of the combat really started frustrating me. Each turn took time and I did not like this slow pacing.
- Even talking to people around establishments felt super slow. Like for example if you talk to a random kid, then the camera first pans to them completely and then they say their dialogue. The dialogue itself wasn't rewarding enough to sit through talking to everyone.

Ultimately, the slow pacing of this game really killed my mood. I even tried to look up any mods to increase the pace a little bit but no avail. I really wanted to like this game and questioned my own judgement especially after such raving reviews.

All in all, if you aren't familiar with slow paced games, then maybe this isn't for you.

Amazing

Best co-op multiplayer game I have ever played. Me and my buddies have a unbreakable bond now that goes beyond friendship.
During my lowest moments in life, I think about the bosses I've fought and defeated in Remnant and that gives me strength to smile at everything I'm facing in life.
Seriously, with good friends, the experience of this game is unmatched by anything else!
