Not sure why I thought I would give Horizons a try, but I did. Big mistake. After landing at a base on a planet, I left my ship in my SRV. When I tried to call my ship, it didn't come to me, so I cancelled the retrieval. Then my ship went and landed on a pad it wasn't approved to land on, so the base destroyed it. It took me a few minutes to destroy my SRV (literally my only option at that point) and then I had to pay the insurance fee to replace my ship.

My other issue: where are all the players? I've seen 3 people total since installing Horizons. The game feels dead.

It's boring and dull, the games take way too long, especially if your team is losing, and the community is toxic.

I could go into all of the things wrong with the game, but there's no point. Basically, the game is dead, so don't even bother.

Bad update is bad. Seriously, why would you remove the Valve servers for casual play? Nobody wanted matchmaking for casual.

What the hell? If I had known that Superhot would be Oculus exclusive, I never would have bought it, played it, and enjoyed it immensely. VR is the most important feature a game can add these days and to cut off a majority of your audience is just appalling. How else am I supposed to enjoy your game? Use a normal monitor instead of my HTC Vive? I mean. the Vive delivers on the promise of VR with best-in-class technology and content. It's just how PC games were meant to be played.

Honestly, I don't like it. Before getting to the singleplayer, I'd like to state that the multiplayer is terrible. As for the singleplayer, it seems like you can melee everything to death while the guns feel fairly weak. Also, I know the game is going for a "classic" feeling, but the way the pick ups look and the fact that you can't reload or carry more ammo bothers the hell out of me. I would like to get further into it, but I'm not having fun.

It's not very good and it's still in early access 2 years later.

I want to like Elite Dangerous. I really, really want to like it. But I don't. It gets very old after 20-30 hours of play and you start to realize that everything is the same (every system, every station, every mission, etc.) and all you are doing is trying to get some more money to buy a bigger ship. Earn money, buy ship. Earn money, buy ship. You keep waiting for the real gameplay to start and it doesn't. You barely encounter other players and you talk to them even less. I probably experienced 2 hours of actual multiplayer content in my 55+ hours of play. You may occasionally see a player fly by, but you won't interact with them. The galaxy feels empty and boring.

Then of course there is the new season Horizons. Luckily they fixed the fact that you were rebuying the base game. However, nothing about Horizons seems worth the price. I can't recommend Elite Dangerous in its' current form at all.

My computer may not be top of the line, but it sure can run every game I throw at it. ARK: Survival Evolved is no exception. What is an exception is that I have to set it to "Low" to get alright FPS and it looks like I'm playing on a PS2. Do not buy until it's properly optimized.

EDIT: I just built a top of the line computer and this game still runs horribly, it's not even remotely optimized. Also, they are making an expansion before it's finished? I wish I could still get a refund.
