I had a lot of fun the first couple hours of the game. You learn the mechanics pretty quick, and after that it becomes a bit repetitive. Has a nice dungeon crawler feel to it, but, you learn the rooms pretty fast. Granted you'll never have the same rooms in order, as they are randomly generated. Co-op is pretty interesting, though I only played a couple games with two other players. I think my biggest gripe was the Necromancer's tower.

If you have not completed the necromancer's tower, know that this is a spoiler.

I had a lot of expectations when it came to the tower, I was pumped and felt that I was ready to take on the necromancer, and thought I was in for a great 10+ level hike up to the necromancer, but unfortunately, it was just him, in a room, with me. I probably fought him for about 15-20 minutes, being I was only level 12, and beat him.

All and all, I think it's a great game, especially being that it's updated and developed by what I believe, is a single party. Definitely worth giving it a go. Plus, the spider boss is pretty neat too. Takes you for surprise.

This game is kinda like when you're wiping after a hot dump, and your finger penetrates the toilet paper. Hot and messy. Not for me.

Hack'n'slash action. Great game, though the intamacy shown through the characters is lost in this game as apposed to the manga and anime series. OH WELL, STILL GOT TO SLICE ♥♥♥♥.

Beautiful story, deep, and rich. Has become my favorite Castlevania. Easily put; put your boots on and get whipping.

This game does look promising, however, I'd wait a while before purchasing. The game is an early access game, which I understand will have bugs and quirks, but it's just a bit too buggy atm.

The game is very neat, especially when running through the sand you leave a trail and what not, but the combat does make it difficult...or too boring. There would be moments where enemies would stand in front of me and let me just wail on the until they were dead, or there would be other moments the npc would be behind, beside, infront, far away, up close, making it frustrating to combat. I will definitely revisit this game later on because the lore and the environment is enticing, but the difficulty of playing it at this point is a bit much for me.

I know there are some other people who are okay with it, and I'm glad. Developers need all the help they can get with figuring out these problems. With that said, be cautious. I have the game recommend as no, mainly due to the technical aspect. Personally I want to say yes, but at later time.

Really wanted to play this game. I got to play 4 rounds of the game. 3 as a killer, 1 as a survivor. All the other hours playing this game were spent in frustration on never ending loading screens, freezes, and not being able to join games. Couldn't even play as the survivor Dwight, as it would cause an error. Was able to work around it by being able to play as a different survivor...but then when I finally did get through a waiting lobby and excited to play as Dwight...got the never ending loading screen. The only thing you have to survive in this game, is the loading screens.

Games has a great concept, however, you'll most likely be requesting a refund like I will be.
